Your Favorite Burberry

Thread Starter
I'll start by saying Touch. The female employee at Sephora said she really liked that one, and literally 5 minutes after I walked out of the store, two women (catching the trails of my scent) were commenting on how good "he" smelled. I like it because it is both fresh and sensual at the same time, while having nice longevity. Also, I was lucky enough to pick up a 1.7 ounce bottle of Touch for 14.99--Gotta love CVS and their fragrance sales.

Close second would be Brit...and im sorry, but I tried on Burberry Men and it smelled a lot like Dolce and Gabbana Pour Homme! Am I nuts???

Burberry London (2006)...one of the best composed leather scents I've smelled! Ultimate joy would be an Extreme version.

Another vote for London 2006
I wasnt convinced at first, but now I enjoy it enormously!

The female Burberry Brit, EdT or EdP doesn't matter, can't tell those two apart when testing side by side.

Brit is the best for sure.

But the old and new London's are quality as well

Another vote for both the male and female Brits, though I do love Touch as well.

Brit for men. I love it to bits... I don't get the new London...

Weekend is my favorite (which most Burberry lovers hate).

I never 'got' the other Burberry scents...

I get a lot of similarity between those two, as well. You're not nuts . Or perhaps we both are, lol.

Anyways, I'd have to say my favorite is the men's version of Brit. I used to wear it all the time, but it's kind of fallen to the wayside in my wardrobe. I don't know why that is, as I love it a lot. But, the good thing is that I always appreciate it when I remember to wear it!

And, the men's version of Touch is a close second for me.

London for me. It reminds me of what a Holiday in a bottle would smell like, and I like that...

I wore the previous "Burberry London" scent and still do on occasion - I always enjoy it when I do. I think it smells a bit "tangy" and my ex girlfriend absolutely loved it. I think it's a great scent for the money (3.3oz bottles can be had for around $20 these days) I also wear Burberry Brit every now and again, typically on cooler wet days.

Burberry Touch for Men - I got this one pretty cheap at CVS pharmacy too (about $15 for a 1.7) I really enjoyed it the first couple of times I wore it but I haven't reached for it in awhile now.

First would be Brit.
A very close second (Tie) is both For Men and Touch.

I too think that For Men smells of D&G, but D&G has a fruit top note that I can't place my nose on. I think that they're both great scents. My bottle is one of the older ones that says London.

I'm with Mike on this; I really like Weekend as well. I haven't worn it in a long time, but I do remember that I liked it a lot. My favorite would have to be the "old" London. I haven't tried the new version.

The 1906 London for Men is the only Burberry that really works on me. It is one of the rare fragrances that smells really good on me during every phase of drydown. I haven't tried it in hot weather, but assume it is more of a fall/winter scent.

Weekend is my favourite, followed closely by the minty formerly known as "London" one. Both are potent, whereas Brit and the new London - while they smell okay - are a tad too subtle for my taste.

Burberry for men. Top notes like D&G PH but base notes are super.

Brit, and then London 2006.

I've never tried TOUCH, and would love to smell it now!
I have not tried any of the frags, other than Brit, which I don't care for.
I love my trenchcoat though.

My fave is Burberry Brit, with the new Burberry London coming in a close second. Haven't smelled Touch or For Men, though.

I'll cast a vote for Weekend...
1 - Brit
2 - London
Defintely Touch, by a long long mile. Second is Brit - wore it a lot last autumn, then grew kind of tired of it.
Glad to see I'll be the fifth to cast a vote for Weekend. This used to be a fave of mine before I started sampling a few thousand other frags. Very underrated IMHO ... though not my favorite Burberry. That would have to be Brit.

I would vote for the new London if not for the ridiculously short longevity.

OK. Here is my Burberry List:

1. Touch for Men
2. Original London (gold juice, silver cap)
3. Brit Men

I am unimpressed with the others, including the new London.
I've never tried Touch, a situation I'll have to rectify immediately. In the meantime, I like Brit and London (2006) equally.

Brit RED for women-fantastic stuff
Burberry Brit for Men
and
Burberry Weekend
I like all three recent ones. I would rate them as folows:
1. Brit
2. London
3. Touch

But only because I have Lanvin Arpege which feels similar to Touch, and therefore it makes Touch less unique.

the new London, hands down. I used to love Brit, but now I find it way too sugared to wear in an y kind of heat.
