One way to determine if you have too many scents:
1) Samples don't count, now, do they?
2) Anything you received as a gift doesn't really count either;
3) Anything about whose authenticity you have doubts can't count until you're sure;
4) Anything on your swap or sale list is going sooner or later so may as well not count it;
5) Anything that has 'gone off' doesn't count;
6) Anything that is open is going to 'go off' so that probably doesn't count;
7) If it's unopened, how do you know what's in it? Don't count it;
8) If it's not in original container/ packaging, refrain from counting;
9) You may count decants and minis but only if they don't violate the rules above and then they may only count proportionally to normal sized containers.
10) Tally up and ask yourself why your collection is so small. Think about what to get next.
