The weirdest comparison that baffles me

I LOVE Cypres Musc. I have a FLACON on it's way to me right now. It is spectacular IMO. One of THE BEST Creed fragrances, hands down.

It smells like a urinal cake.

THE BEST urinal cake ever. The most expensive, royal, precious urinal cake imaginable...In a urinal deep within a beautiful forest of pine and cypres. Pure nature surrounding you. Utterly beautiful.

What the hell is wrong with me?

I don't know what kind of response I could expect from this, but I would think that I'm not alone in making this weird reference...either pertaining to cypres musc and urinal cakes or let's say, the way A*men reminds me of the old moldy basement in my old frat house....which I love.

Cypres Musc is mighty fine, but I havent read it being compared to a urinal cake. Infact, its rarely discussed at basenotes or any other site.

Cypres-Musc is very good, esp around Autumn.

But---- urinal cakes?? I haven't heard that one before

Cool Water to me always smells like those things down the toilette to make it smell nice.

M7 ? Espana, how have you changed ! I shall not recognize you any more!!
I notice great national differences when I need to visit urinals. Cakes here spread a fruity odor (candy stuff). Pine cones are out, and I could actually wear Pino Silvestre again !
Dubious places or those poorly serviced (motorways, gas stations) smell like "what-can-you-do" all ove the world, no matter what they throw in. These will never link me to my favorite brands! .

It is so strange to have such an odd association of smells like this, and absolutely love the fragrance in question so much!

I'm going to bathe in that stuff when it gets here! Now I'm gettin' all excited!
