James Bonds cologne in "Casino Royale"???

Finally got to see James Bond -Casino Royale this past Saturday.

Great Bond! Daniel Craig got killed in the press before it came out but it was awesome!

My question is this: In the movie there is a scene where James Bond has a black Gym bag filled with clothes and spy stuff....lol..there is a 5 second shot of the bag wide open and there is COLOGNE lying on top of the stuff inside the bag?!

I immediately wondered what that cologne was??? Do you guys know what cologne that is? I know there is a Bond line out there but I wasn't sure if that was the one?

It was a clear square bottle, it was a yellow liquid (cologne). I believe you will find this scene when he was in Venice, Italy.

I would love to try out that cologne if you guys know what it is? lol It was definately cologne.

Your thoughts or definative answers?

It is a unisex fragrance by Santa Maria Novella called Melograno, and in fact I believe that was Vesper's bag. I did a search through our old threads and found this one, gives you the full story.

Floris 89? Thats what i've heard anyway. Apparently floris have sold out of the fragrance since the movie came out.

Floris 89 for men or unisex?

This looked like it was a square bottle, like a cologne bottle?

I'll check it out on this directory.

I'll give it to the British.....if there was ever a fictional awesome bad-ass spy that we WISH we had it would be Bond!!!!!!!!

Guys awesome!

Stuck here with Tom Cruise! lmao

And they never better put Colin Farrel as Bond...ever!!!!!!!!

Cool no-names are most times thee best!!

Cheers from L.I.!!!

Brotha G is right!
In "Casino Royale" it was Santa Maria Novella's Melograno and it was with the belongings of his girlfriend in the movie.
( I sampled it, and although unisex,I found it rather sharp and feminine smelling).

I believe Floris 89 is the fragrance Bond uses in the original novels.

I am pretty sure that the cologne on the counter in the scene where Bond is putting on his tux is Acqua di Parma Colonia. But the men's scent that was advertised in relation to "Casino Royale" was "Boss Selection".

And if you want to know how many sprays it takes to be like a Double-Oh...

"It takes..."
"...Two"

"It takes..."
""... Two"

"Well, you may have gotten your first kill, but the second is condiderably-"
Psssffft. (Bond shoots him)
"Yes, quite."

LOL!

What an awesome Bond man'!

A total bad ass and such a great breath of fresh air on a Bond movie. they killed this poor fellow Daniel Craig before it came out and they released who the new Bond was going to be. I must admit...lol...after Connery you might as well pack it in...HE IS Bond...I was one of the naysayers on Craig..man was I surprised!

As far as the cologne goes yup...I figured there HAD to be some Aqua Di Parma somewhere in some scene if he's in Venice, Italy!!!!!!

Have yet to try A.D.Parma.

probably Aqua di parma but the Bond fragrance should have been there
