Perfume Bay blunder

Thread Starter
I recently purchased one item from this online store and they claimed trhough emails that my product had arrived. However, the tracking thing on the email said that it landed in my neck of the woods, but not at my address. They further told me in an email that they were positive they had delivered it to me, though they had not. I have filled out there form and am still waiting to hear back from them regarding a refund or replacement. Thought I should let everyone know of the problem, was also wondering if anyone else had the same problem?

I have not had that particular problem but If paid with a credit card you can have your card company charge back the payment against the seller until the matter is settled and proof of delivery or evidence of non=delivery is given to the card company.

How long has it been? Sometimes packages will land at the local sorting depot and take a couple days to reach your house.

Nevertheless, once Perfumebay, or any etailer, has shipped the product it's no longer in their hands and in that of the shipping company (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc...)

Perfumebay.com is pretty damned good. I do a lot of business with them and they have never failed. They have an 800 number on their web page. give em a call.

I had a grisly problem with them lately and it took many calls, emails and the decision to call the credit card company to get my money back long AFTER the package was returned and received by them!

I haven't used them since then.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have never had any problems with my orders from Perfume Bay, and there have been many.

I hope your story will have a happy ending.

Perfume Bay & Fragrancenet are now using DHL for delivery service. I believe that in the comments suggestion when you checkout you can request they not use that company but use UPS or USPS instead.

perfumebay offers several types of delivery service that are price specific. Ground delivery by DHL is usually passed to the post office in the last few miles from the airport which is is way better than having FedEx ground give it to a local delivery agency. You do get what you pay for and filling out web forms is just as important as pen and ink.

I've ordered from Perfume Bay 5 times over two years; never had a problem.

I just got another package of samples and minis in my mail box ordered last week here in 4 or 5 business days, standard shipping. 12 items exactly what I ordered.
Another full bottle on it's way.
