What's good besides Creed?

Ok, I'm fairly new to this, and I'm trying to find more information. I have ordered a bunch of Creed samples from ParfumsRaffy, and I like them well enough.

I'd like to find out what other niche houses are considered good, and perhaps more importantly, where I can get samples.

ParfumsRaffy also has samples from Amouage, Montale, and Crown. I don't think I've heard them mentioned much, so I don't know if they're any good.

Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to expand my horizons beyond Creed (and all the mass-market crap)...

Thanks.

L'Artisan, Jack Black, Clive Christian, and many others...

Just curious, do you only receive the Creed samples when you buy above $85 or can you just pay for the samples?

And which Creed's did you like the most?

You can get samples of high end niche fragrances from aedes.com or luckyscent.com. Aedes has a deal where you get 7 samples for 15 dollars. Try L'Artisan Parfumeur or Serge Lutens.

Thank you--

A little off topic, but here's a video I found recently of a Creed Boutique in Paris...

I'd like to add Kiton. I ordered a sample vial of Kiton Black but the vial was broken in the parcel. However, the paper card that absorbed the juice smells so nice that I can't throw it away.

No, but you do have to take your own footwear off before you are allowed in, because of the mink carpet.

Of course it is! The carpet is only upstairs where the REALLY exclusive ones that aren't on the BN database are, plebs stay downstairs and don't have to take their shoes off.

You missed out Bois de Bronx, (2 years before it goes public, mind) and designed specially to appeal to all you guys over there who say they don't like Creed. Erwin's over there now, sampling the atmosphere.

Or Bois de Nessie; the fragrance captures the mysterious aroma which wafts throughout the Scottish landscape drawing people from all over the world to experience the charms of old world Scotland; special ingredient note (this is Erwin Creeds 10% contribution to the fragrance): enfleuraged Haggis (sheeps pluck + spices)

It is THE creed boutique. There is only one. This is quite a small company, believe it or not. When I went there I was very surprised that half the small shop was full of clothes.
