How long does a bottle last?

How much fragrance is used up by a spritz? Or, to put it another way, if I have a 50 ml bottle, and I spray 4 spritzes once a day, every day - about how long will that bottle last?

I know there's variation in spritzers, I'm just hoping for an estimate.

I ask because I think knowing how many months/years worth of perfume I've acquired will help keep the collection to a "reasonable" size. At the very least I'd like to keep it under a centuries worth of fragrance...

As you said, this is just a rough estimate. But 10 spritzes per mL will put you within a decade or two, I imagine ;D

So a 50mL bottle would last approx. 4 months with your 4 spritzes once daily.

Thanks Advocate - I was looking for variations on how long a bottle will last, not for spray volume so I didn't see that thread.

Hmmm... ok, according to kasae and Dennard I have err.... enough perfume in samples and decants alone to take me through the next year. So I appear to be safe for the summer, then! Ha!

You are very welcome. I only remembered the thread because I had contributed to it.

Compared to some others, I have only a small collection, but I estimate that if I did not buy another bottle, I will not run out until after the London Olympics in 2012.
