Virgin Island Water: I need a drink

I buckled and bought VIW for $120, not bad for 4 oz. I have a new appreciation for the lime, mmmhhmm yummy. However, the irony is that this particular Creed doesn't last on me but for a few hours, most 3. Perhaps its the cologne galactic karma at work since MI lasts all day on me.

Does anyone have issues with longevity with this particular Creed?

Average longevity here. The lime/rum combo note, in my opinion, lasts the longest.

SMW, on the other hand, has lower than avg. longevity on me.

Low sillage, but excellent longevity.

Its hard to overspray this one, but lasts a good 7-8 hours on me.

Yes..what zz said. I get really nice longevity and it is really nice when you catch those random wiffs from about 4 - 7 hour range. Very satisfying in the heat.

With this one (and by the way.. blast you for getting it so cheap. FL taxes put it over 220 ), I found that applying a bit of unscented lotion first makes it last much much longer. If I don't, it's gone in just a few hours to where it's just noticeable on the skin. But it makes me want to drink it in the beginning it smells so good.

I find Virgin Island Water to have very good longevity. It lasts at least 10/12 hours on my skin, and days on my shirts. And like Jock_W_Scents says, this fragrance is all about random whiffs. It's like a grandfather clock chiming every fifteen minutes (but more like every 5 minutes).

Whaaaaat? VIW last sooo long...maximum 3-4 sprays...it lasts the whole day on me...one of the Creeds, which last very very long...be careful by your spraying method...
I write you a little story: when i first bought VIW...i went to work...i sprayed VIW to test it on a cloth (2 sprays) at the garage of my work, than put the cloth into my car and left the garage...
i went to my office...after 6 hours i went back to the garage (to my car) for lunch...what do you think i smelled near my car...yeees, VIW...so strong is that fragrance
