Along the lines of Villoresi Uomo suggestions?

Hi,

I am loving LV's Uomo and was wondering what other fragrances were out there that would be considered in the same category (for lack of a better word). I already consider Bois de Portugal as one. Others? Didn't care for LV's Piper Nigrum by the way.

Thanx!

I consider Mazzolari's signature fragrance 'Mazzolari' to be in the same ball park as Uomo. Mazzolari is a bit less angular, has less vetiver, and is a tad smokier, but it lasts forever and the drydown is wonderful. I love it, but others don't. It's always a subjective opinion about fragrances anyway.

Aramis Tuscany is less complex and sharper, maybe, but seems to me to be in the ballpark. I really like it.

eI find Uomo ends up pretty herbal on me, but in a subtle and long lasting way.... When I first tried it all I could get is the citric notes a la Acqua di Parma but without the rose noe. Now I just get the herbs. May I suggest:
Agua Brava (Puig)
Eau de Quatre Vouleurs (L'Occitane)

Between the two I suggested I think the 4 Voleurs is better but sometimes I get the hankering to go spritz happy with Agua Brava... it dies pretty quick on my skin, while Quatre Voleurs has some staying power.

You might consider YSL PH but I think the herbal mixture in Agua Brava or Eau de 4 Voleurs is closer to Uomo.
