Later tonight, going to see Kathy Griffin (the comedian) in concert - probably gonna wear Noir Epices by Frederic Malle.

Both, from samples by the 'man', Michael!

Finally getting around to sampling Andy Tauer's generous exclusive gift:

Leau Dépices

I get a very sweet, grape kool-aid/grape candy going on, which fades pretty quickly into a dirty, spicy, dusty floral.
Right now (two hours on) it's sort of glowering on my skin, working well in the summer heat, bringing out a touch of floral and a really EARTHY accord, like sand and dirt and flowers

very nice

Azzaro PH.

After hearing that it's a classic and reading the reviews, and being a big 80's fan, I couldn't resist a blind buy. I'm just not quite getting it - it's got a dry sophistication, unique character, and high quality vibe, but I just don't think it's for me.

I think somebody's gonna get a nice 2 ouncer and gift set in a trade!

Cheers, Dave

Noggs has Monsieur Givenchy on and I wish I'd remembered my bottle of that this morning. I've meant to wear that a bit this month. Rats. Maybe tomorrow.

S.T. Dupont's Essence Pure for me. I felt like a fix of a pop-smelling scent: bamboo and aquatic notes. Maybe there's some cardamom hiding in it.

Really a good choice. I like it better than the Creed VIW I wore yesterday.

I know, I know, it's the Kmart of seafood restaurants but we haven't been to one in a long time.
