Sounds like a relaxing start for the basenoters above...
The temperature here is still on the late 20s... it is a little misty and humid.
I am dressed in Ysatis - Iris, it is an absolute sillage bomb. My colleague said I am still smelling STRONG after 6 hours.

Yes, preparing for a downpour here too; it even smells like rain and it cooled off quite a bit. I started the day off in the arms of Loukhoum by Keiko Mecheri and Black Fig & Absinthe by Slatkin.

Soon thereafter, (after a shower) I changed into my SotD Daim Blond a near perfection in every sense of the word!

Sorry to see on the news how many are suffering from floods and hurricanes, but I'm loving our gray, soggy weather.

Rekindling my acquaintance with Black Cashmere. It's not precisely right for today, but since straying from Nanadebary Green, I've lost my bearings.

D&G Sicily - yummy caress soap followed by banana/musky goodness(at least that's what it smells like on me). Or rather *smelled* like. I put it on at about 8am, and it's already pretty much gone - and I asked others just in case I just couldn't smell it. Nobody else can smell it either. :-(

Edited to add: wow! Somebody really likes Caron Le 3me Homme! :-)

Back to work today in AL Moss.

I had a rough weekend with my kids and their young professional woes. They want to have it all quickly and cheaply and the noise is wearing me down a bit. When I was 23, I knew I had to live like a 23 year old and sacrifice one pleasure for another. In my case, I chose to scrimp on nice apartment and spend on clothes, fun, additional part time studies. They want the snappy apartment in the big city too...I wonder if I whined a lot and am just forgetting?

Anyway, I need something I love today, and Moss is a fabulous chypre that manages to avoid sharpness.
