I'm sorry: I tried to post this some time ago, but didn't have the courage to do it.

It's about 9 years now since the greatest pain of my life, loosing her.

Went some time ago to a shop and-really don't know why-pick up Mira Bai and smelled it.

It's been, I belive, all that years since I didn't re-smelled it.

Bad idea: a kind of movie started in my mind.

Had to leave the shop.

Bad bad day.

I suppose you're right, but you know, when you lose the love of your life you're left with nothing.

I started working more and more, 10, 12, up to 15 hours a day, just to prevent me from thinking.

Never had the need for another love, I had mine.

Anyway thanks for the encouragement. btw I'm going off topic here...

When I read the headline I was thinking of irritation or allergies. Your meaning is far more dramatic of course. It's never happened to me, because perfume did not play a big role in my life until recently (and I'm lucky enough to still be together with my great love). But I can very well imagine your pain.

Parfois on trouve un vieux flacon qui se souvient,
D'où jaillit toute vive une âme qui revient.

Sometimes one finds an antique phial which remembers,
Whence gushes forth a living soul returned to life.

(Baudelaire, Le Flacon)

Hope you can eventually make your peace with your loss!
