When I try to view my wardrobe, it tells me I have to log in, but I AM logged in.

also, about half of the pictures onscreen are not loading...just little question mark icons.

and everything is taking forever to load!

Whats going on here? Both of my computers are doing this. The site is barely usable for me! Help!

Firefox will not load the site at all.

I'm so glad the site's back up...glitches and all!

Surely things will get ironed out in due time...

Yeah, I'm glad its back too, but I'm just wondering if these problems are on my end or not. I use Safari...You say Firefox won't work?...maybe its a Mac thing.

Man, I'm gonna freak if I get my new bottle of Dunhill and I can't add it to my wardrobe! It's like I don't officially own it if I can't add it to my wardrobe on Basenotes!

Try Camino, it is developed by Mozilla.org (Firefox).

I'm using Firefox and all is well. No need to sign in each time I visit the site as it's signed in automatically.

This is happening to me also, but all the pictures and everything works fine with me, it loads very fast...

I just downloaded firefox and it fixed the situation with the question mark icons...(only while I'm in firefox, though) but I still can't get to my wardrobe. If I click my wardrobe icon in a forum post, it shows me the guest view of my wardrobe, which I cannot modify.

I'm using Explorer, and I too am unable to access my wardrobe or view any of the icons. I'm also getting error messages every time I try to submit a review.

Bothersome.

I'm using Firefox on my iMac, and I haven't had too many problems till now. I can't currently view my Wardrobe at all (I get an "Error 404-server not found" message). The same thing when I try to get into the Directory; and when I click on the "Supporting Members: Please Read," I get an error telling me the browser can't find the server at www.basenotespro.com.

Earlier I was able to get into my Wardrobe and the Directory. Also, when I click on my name, I get referred to Vibert's page from some locations, and to my own from others.

I suspect as things are getting reworked, various bits don't work while they're dislocated.

What I'm looking forward to when all is fixed is the thrill of posting to my blog again!

Fingers crossed, votive candles lit, novenas under way!

I'm using IE.
I can get into my Wardrobe & Directory and add/delete items, move them around, etc. but I have loads of little red x pizza boxes instead of icons/buttons in every part of the site.
I still can't change my SUPPORTER Wardrobe perfume bottle icon. Can anybody else??

The main address for BN that I came in on initially was:
http://www.basenotes.net/
And then I made sure I was signed in and went into WARDROBE/DIRECTORY/COMMUNITY from that home page.

Don't know if any of that makes any difference, but it's worth a try.

Strange - I can only see my wardrobe on certain computers. I have tried to refresh, use different browsers. I get different results.

I cannot access the Community page. When I try I get the "1&1" Ad page...

we still have moderators? A load of questions about what's going on. Browser specific problems? I was on the Firefox merry-go-round for a while yesterday.

Maybe I'll try Seamonkey, no! Opera!!
--------------------------------------
I launched Opera. Signed in again to establish a cookie for Opera. That went well. Went directly to wardrobe and then did a search for knize ten and it lets me make wardrobe changes from the product page.

hope this helps

I am using Firefox on a PC. IE works just fine.I will try it on my home computer tonight.

The domain name is now pointing at the new server, but it can take up to 48 hours for it to be working internet-wide (which is why some are seeing 1&1 page)

You'll have to bear with me for a few days - life with a 2 year-old and a two week old doesn't give you a lot of time. Especially when you are moving house on Friday and there's packing to be done!
