It's true; it's true. Taolady sent me a bottle of Borsari's Acqua Belle Terre Rosse today. (This one, for some odd reason, is not listed on the board.)
Imagine, if you will, A*men with far less chocolate (but still with enough cocoa to go 'round). Now take out the vile road tar note and replace it with a light (but still earthy) patchouli and citrus blend. This unusual scent, btw, is from Borsari's Viaggio in Italia series.
Yup, folks, Yours Truly has actually discovered an "A*men Light" that is far more wearable than Animale Animale (or any other kissing cousin to the Diabolical One Himself). Very brisk, very Continental, very light (really more like a cologne than an EdT in terms of strength).
I don't feel that I've sold my soul here -- maybe I've just taken one tiny step onto the Dark Side, that's all.
