Who has tried Pavarotti's fragrance?

Please share your experience. If you rate it 3 stars at least I'd buy it. I came into the world of opera because of him, and was shocked learning he died today. R.I.P. Maestro Pavarotti...

I own it since many years. Pretty damn good actually. Total rip off of Givenchy Gentleman though - almost impossible to tell apart. So if heavy masculine patchouli is your thing - go for it. Excellent longevity and sillage as well.

I can imagine that, for I have tried Gentleman. Will sure look for it. Thanks :-)

Yes he was really good.
They played Nessun Dorma on the radio today. He recorded a stirring rendition of that song.

RIP Pavarotti

Hope they bring it back though !

Same thing here.
It was suggested to me a couple of years ago as a "light" substitute for Gentleman, which can be heavy sometimes, but it failed at it then.
I wish I could give another sniff though!

I have and I love it. There´s something very special about it. It is a very subtle, natural smelling fragrance. It´s just like standing in the middle of a deciduous forest in springtime. Subtly woody, but not pine or heavy woods and a hint of very natural violets. It also has a damp, mossy earthy quality about it.
Great stuff !............poor old Pavarotti.

Bought this on eBay:

BN lists two fragrances for Pavarotti.
This one is probably the second one.
It's quite fleeting though. Nice fougere, but on the light side.

Other people tried it?
