Scent needed for Winter Wedding

I'm getting married in December, in Vermont, and I'm looking for a special fragrance to wear. Hopefully the scent will become one with the evant so I can revisit the moment when I use it in the future. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi, if you have big budget, maybe you'd be interested in this:

But if it were me, I would wear Vera Wang or L'Instant Extreme.

Congratulations. Winter in Vermont, a true white wedding, very romantic, a bit of Christmas season, and it needs to be something worthy of such an important ritual. I think my first choice would be Villoresi's Incensi. Ancient resins, a wonderful warm note of cinnamon, finest quality. That's the one!

Many wonderful recommendations already. May I suggest Opium eau de parfum pour homme. Wonderfully warm, deep, and thoughtful.

I'd also strongly suggest you check with your intended and make sure the two scents in question harmonize well.

Im going to recommend
Armani Prive's Bois d'Incens
Guerlain Bois d'Armenie
Clive Christian X
Amouage Gold or Dia

A little more affordable:
Guerlain L'Instant pour Homme
CDG Kyoto
Cartier Must Essence pour Homme

Thanks for all the replies. I have made a list and plan on searching for samples and places to test them.

Without a doubt I would go with Divine's L'Homme Sage. A very lightly smoky amber/oakmoss fragrance with smooth and gentle spices. Deep, calming, and ever so slightly sweet. Perfect for a wedding situation, especially in a cold climate.

I might wear it tomorrow for my first day of grad school (not quite so momentous an occasion, but I'll take any excuse to break it out). Thanks for reminding me, and congrats!!!.

For Man: Original Santal (Creed)
For Woman: Love in White (Creed)

Something readily available and easy to sample locally (I would imagine) is Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree. A classic.

Congratulations to you both.

Another rich, masculine edp that's fairly easy to come by is the Lalique Lion eau de parfum. This would be a very handsome scent for a winter wedding.

Im going to second the Lalique Nod. I think the original mens fragrance is still their best, so very elegant and classic and refined and perfect for a wedding. They have a great line of fragrances period.

I'm also going to add Creed's Royal Delight which I think is a glorious creation, also elegant and refined, but not stuffy and will be equally as warm and comforting in the winter.

Guerlain's L'Instant (edp if you can get your hands on it), Guerlain's Heritage (but don't overapply!), Eau d'Italie's Bois d'Ombrie, Chanel's Egoiste, Chanel's Antaeus, the orig. Guerlain Vetiver, the original Van Cleef & Arpels, Creed's Bois de Portugal, Dior's Eau Sauvage, Aramis' JHL, Malle's Noir Epices

If you happen to like sweet scents, you might like Jaïpur Homme EDP, Allure Homme and Dior Homme.

Congrats! I suggest Creed's Baie de Genievre--warm, spicy, masculine.... Have you asked your fiancee to wiegh in on this?
Congrats on getting married...

Escada Magnetism (smoky-romantic)
Calvin Klein Euphoria (romantic)
Baldessarini Ambre (manly)
Issey Miyake L'Eau Bleu d'Issey (exotic)

You've gotten some wonderful recommendations already. I lend my voice to Jaipur Homme EdP, JHL, Amouage Dia, and L'Homme Sage. Also worth considering is Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier's Santal Noble. (Emphasis on the "noble.") It's a wonderfully warm, sophisticated, yet sensual fragrance that for some reason seems to linger in the memory...

I have asked the lady. Of the ones she has tested, she likes Creed OS and Musc Ravageur. Where is a good place to test most of these recommendations? I normally buy from Macys, Nordstroms, and NM.

Clive Christian X definitely fits this billing, in my opinion. Unique, evolving, not mainstream. Perfect for this kind of occasion.

You can try calling the Barney's in NY, the manager generally sends out musc ravegeur and frederick malle when they actually have samples on hand. But if they don't have any then you should be able to get both of what your looking for at theperfumedcourt. I got my samples of carnal flower and musc ravegeur from one of the ladies who is part of this new business.

NM stocks the full Creed line
