Are we back?? Hellooooooooo!!! I don't think I hear an echo!

Today is bleak & drizzling outside ... to warm me up Mahora by Guerlain.

WELCOME to WEDNESDAY everybody!!
It's only 6am here, and I haven't decided what my SOTD will be yet. After I've had my shower and prised my eyes fully open, I'll peruse the Wardrobe and see what leaps out at me...
Bois des Îles by Chanel over here but sneakily changed to Vol de Nuit parfum during my lunch break as I was visiting the Guerlain store to enquire about the ordering of Jicky EDP.

Right. Sorted. It's a Shocking day for me today.

Is this site jinxed?

Could not enter yesterday and stopped trying in the afternoon. Prepared emergency bags for another long stay on The Board for Stranded BN Members (yes, I brought the Stilton).

Hmm, started the day in calming Encens & Lavande but will change into Angelique Encens since the doors of Fragrance Heaven are open again.

The question is: for how long?

Begs the old adage: How long is a piece of string?

Did everybody read Grant's post on the FORUM NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS thread?
I'm glad to see the board back up this morning! I came back from a long weekend away and saw the whole site was missing and feared the worst!

Angel extrait for me today.

Defenitely feels good to be back Yesterday was not one of my best days...a major migraine, house needed to be cleaned (since my mother in law came later that day)...And no basenotes Today everything is much better.A typical autumn day and Aromatics Elexir seemed right today Hope you all have a nice day.

Eh, good question, my dear...I hate these on's and off's, especially because the 3x3 blind sniffing thread remained without hints

Today I am wearing a neglected possession, Profumum Confetto (read Hypnotique Poison's big and strong sister) dabbed verrrrry sparingly.

After jousting with these posts/threads I feel more like a wrapper..

To periphrase the classics: "Boy, it feels good to be a (w)rapper!" Was so glad to see Madame Fufu and her rapping kitty last night! Please stay! So many people have not logged on after June-July, it is incredible....

First night without the AC here! In a gentle embrace of L'Or Rouge de Torrente.

Chopard - Casmir. I've had this bottle since 2000 and I hadn't worn it since last winter. Not sure what happened but it seems to have gotten woodier since I last wore it....Very little fruit on the top and only a whiff of vanilla to lighten the wood. I had it stored in a box for most of its life - but my current apartment can be a greenhouse sometimes (floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows) and I think the heat may have gotten it. I think I prefer it this way.....

I love Philosykos. It's utterly gorgeous. Man, I can smell you from here!

(skids in panting and wheezing....) Were it not for the kind ministratrions of a Dragon I'd still be in limbo - snuck in through Google.

Smelling divinely of Chinatown. (Fellow addicts - check out The Perfumed Court sale on this one-of-a-kind!!)

It is cooler and almost crisp outside, and I'm very sad that I had to part with my cold weather favorites (Chergui, Ambre Sultan, Gris Clair, Musc Ravageur)... I'm not sure what I'm going to wear today. I have a 5mL bottle of Madame X by Ava Luxe that I may wear.

Woke up in Shalimar and testing Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille this morning. Warm spicy and very much like a pipe shop with open humidors. The vanilla did not get too sweet on me, but the few drops I tried are seriously fading in a little more than two hours.

Today I am trying Fracas in EdP form (tomorrow, parfum!). I dabbed...okay, maybe doused...myself with it this morning, early-ish. Eight hours have passed. Not only can I still smell it, without effort, just in the last half hour the top green notes have begun to clear out, the tuberose creeping in quietly as they depart. I'm astonished. I love the Carons generally (though have not tried Tubereuse yet...hmmm...) because on my skin they evolve all day long. I love Black Orchid because it stays with me all day, and all night, and into the next morning. Might Fracas combine both effects?

hello all, it's been a while! i'm so glad to see the site is working again...i almost had a fit yesterday!

Today I'm in Tabu. I can't believe this stuff is so inexpensive and smells so good (at least on me it does; I love it!). Also have gotten a co-worker on it and it smells wonderful on her too.

Rockin' Gucci Rush today. Snuck up on one of my patients in the hall. She said she should have known it was me cause she could smell the perfume lol. She told her friend that was walking with her that I always smell good. her friend asked me what I had on. I told her, but I didn't tell her that I had on Absolute Vanilla by Aveda on with it too....tee hee. The vanilla makes Rush smell soooooo delicious. I'm smelling myself right now lol.

OMG!! I haven't thought about this in years. I use to wear this when I was in high school. I loooooved Cinnabar. My Moms wore it and I would sneak in and use it too. Thanks for the idea because I was just about to figure out what I want to get for the winter. It smelled so good on a crisp day.

I'm so jealous because I love this perfume, but it doesn't like me not one bit. It smells horrible on me, but it smells so good on my cousin. She would tease me about it when we use to go perfume hunting.

ShadesofBlue mentioning Cinnabar made me take a second look at the elegant little bottle of vintage Bellodgia that SOME KIND BNer sent to live with me (you know who you are Tinks) and I am going to bed with her. I wore this for years - and now I remember why!! Well-bred Carnations over the Caron "mystique" - elegant and joyful.
