Does one need Sandalo if one has Tam Dao?

Just wondering how similar they actually are. Thanks!

Oh, they certainly are different. Tam Dao is superbly smooth leather, while Sandalo is a rather dry and distinct woody fragrance. Give the Sandalo a try, it's worth it.

Second BrothaG that the two are like cheese and chalk; though both gorgeous in and of themselves.

Try both!

Tam Dao.....leather?

I agree the two are quite different but leather is in no way the dominant note in Tam Dao, if it's there at all (i don't detect any leather). It is rosewood and possibly cedar, with sandalwood not far in the background.

Yeah, I get sort of a leather vibe from it. There's definitely wood too, though, and very fine wood at that

Lorenzo Villoresi's Sandalo was the one I was speaking of.
