Save your pennies. Buy the EDP and start looking for a good home for your EDT since you won't be using it anymore.

Oh, get 'em both if you can afford to but if not then the edp for sure!

There is an English website that has it for approx $50 but I can't remember the name/address. You may want to keep checking Ebay too. I got mine on Ebay for $20! Turns out the seller misspelled Eau de Parfum and nobody looked at it.

The site is called www.dutyfreeperfume.co.uk and believe it sells for £19.99 or if you want the refill only £17.99

I am wearing this for the 1st time today and it is gorgeous stuff! The only reference point I can point to is Heritage EdP by Guerlain.

If I love this, I can't wait to try the womens EdP!

Amazing stuff. Thanks rentboy for the sample.

The thread should be titled Opium Pour Homme vs Opium Pour Homme EDP.

"Opium" is the women's fragrance.

Go for the EDP (assuming its the pour homme). Its richer and spicier with a longer lasting anise note.

The EDP has much more sillage imho, to the point that it is embarrassing for me. Apart from this I think the differences between the two variants are a bit overrated. The EDT has a bit more initial fruity sparkle to it while the EDP proceeds to a much louder base. So for me it has to be the EDT.
