It actually starts off with a boozy, almost rum-like scent as you put it on. But that dries down to the most austere leather-and-smoky-vetiver I have ever smelled. I would swear there's a note of...
Love this scent! Great for summer, better for day, but good for night as well. I’ve worn it for 10 years and never had it go bad. I would say it is more masculine, clean and almost classic. I...
Pour Homme is very pleasant scent that once you apply, you have the clean and fresh showered feeling. I am a big fan of Salvatore Ferragamo fragrances and have many to chose from. Free Time has...
I absolutely LOVE this fragrance! It's not heavy, and is more of a natural soap smell than an actual eau de parfum smell. If they bottled a bar of Ivory soap this would be it. I live in an...
kenzo amour from musse... then wandered through david jones and got sprayed with dolce vita, miss dior cherie and coco mademoiselle so im smelling nice but my nose is pretty confused!
Black Cashmere for me today. It arrived in the post this morning, I bought it unsniffed and I'm VERY impressed. I get a big hit of amber from this...very much in the same vein as Ambre Sultan, but it has what I find is missing from AS. AS bothers me. I wear it, and I find myself wondering about it and pondering about whether I should put it on my swap list, because it's just so intense...so now I'm thinking I might experiment with AS and other frags to see if I can find the 'extra' whatever-it-is that I feel it needs. I'm sure there are people out there horrified when they see this because to them, AS is perfect, and I do get that - but it's not perfect for me. Black Cashmere is closer to the type of amber frag I'm looking for. It's warmer, it's gentler, and makes me feel toasty and wintery. I'll be wearing this one all through Autumn and probably on Christmas day. It's rather splendid.
Just for once I am not wearing Chanel No 19. SotD is my new frag, SJP Covet. It is doing very well on my skin. All perfumes gets very very sweet on my skin, burt Covet isn´t sweet, so I can feel freshness wearing it. No vanilla at all... A lovely autumn-fragance for me, I think!
Perfect weather here - clear, high in the eighties - for the mammoth FIRST BIRTHDAY party for TWMAG (The World's Most Adorable Grandbaby- for the newly arrived) Television crews are already arriving and the helicopters are hovering over the massive 300 person tent on the back lawn.....
Mitsouko edt for me today. It smells much better on me then the last time I wore it. Hmmmm, interesting. Maybe the happy hormones are causing it cos of the work I must do over the weekend :-)))))
Testing Long Lost Perfume's version of Tuvara today. Even if it's not like the original, I'm loving this! Dark honey anchored in spices and the flowers of a formal European garden.
Beautiful Ormonde Jayne Woman from a lovely batch of decants received last night. Oh my, I am smitten, I am lost.... Again. I lurrrrrrrrve it! All I have ever wanted in a fragrance and then some!
