Odd but accurate comments on your scent?

Considering the Bulgari Black SSD and a very memorable comment on it I received from a coworker, I figured I'd ask - What have been some of the most odd-but-somehow alarmingly accurate comments you've gotten on fragrances??

I received a comment on Bulgari Black from a coworker that seemed incredibly accurate even though it was not exactly a "compliment"

"You know what you smell like?? Like a vacuum cleaner that picked up a piece of candy on the carpet which jammed the brush and is causing the belt to burn... You smell like burning vacuum cleaner belt and melting candy."

For someone that had no frame of reference for the scent and who by his own admission has never worn a fragrance before that somehow seemed like a fairly accurate description of Bulgari Black.

My boyfriend smelled me after wearing Terre D'Hermes all day and said that I smelled 'like pot.' Honestly, upon further wearings, I had to admit that the herbal, earthy basenotes resembled dried leaves (herbs) which is what marijuana is, right??

We have smoke, rubber, and sweets! Very good, person who described you.

Before I knew what Gucci pour Homme was I smelled it on my friend and told him he smells like a church with incense burning in the middle of a very dry, dead forest. That seems to agree with most people.

I too have heard the "have you been smoking weed!" exclamation because of my fragrance. It was Tea for Two. Perhaps that doesn't really belong on this thread, since it wasn't accurate, but the same scent was also compared to mothballs by a passerby in a store. What's up with that? Not accurate at all.

A friend who wore Tam Dao because I advised his girlfriend to buy it for him reported that at his office someone walked through his corridor and asked if an animal had been there recently. He thought that was very accurate.

Well, not on my scent really, but this description has stayed with me for over 20 years:

When I was in college, my then-dearest-friend/girl friend went shopping for perfume for her. Of Missoni (the original one from 1981): "it smells like the elephant house at the Baltimore Zoo".

Since then, any grassy/vetiver-y fragrance smells that way to me - Guerlain Vetiver, for example.

The day I wore Chypre Rouge (while testing it before swapping it, mind you), my partner of 13 years looked at me square in the eye and said, "You smell like cherry cough drops."

Btw, just added Creed Aubépine-Acacia to my swap list -- check it out by clicking on my icon.

I was told that I smelled of Licorice Allsorts while wearing Eau du Badian (it does have a serious anise top note). Now I can think of nothing else when I wear it...
