Help need super sexy yet real light scent...

Im in need of a super sexy scent that has to be light, I don't want the sweet candy scent like Le Male, Angel, etc and I don't want the powdery, flowerly scent. Currently D&G PH has been my go to scent for something sexy. I want something that I can wear on the plane that will work during the day and into the night.

I have already tried..TH Cologne, Gendarme, etc..I like Lanvin alot but wanted some other options, any suggestion?

try tommy bahama very cool...i am a huge advocate of this one...real transparent, but freakin smells so good...i have gotten more random compliments from beautiful women on this one...its light, fresh and sexy and never too much, get the deodorant with it and watch compliments fly.

As cliche as it may be, aqua di gio is good too, just everyone has it, except me, but its light and fresh and meets your above stated reqs

Here are a few scents that my girl friend finds extremely sexy on me:

Lighter scents:
Creed Green Irish Tweed
Creed Millesime Imperial and it's copy Sean John Unforgivable (the "affordable version of MI)
Marc Jacobs for men
Dolce & Gabbana Masculine

A bit more power, but not heavy:
Creed Himalaya
Baldessarini Eau de Cologne Concentrée
Yves Saint Laurent M7 Fresh

All of the scents listed above can be considered as not too sweet.

I get oodles of compliments with Séxual pour Homme by Michel Germain. (This is a GREAT Canadian frag that doesn't get near enough play on this board.) Just be sure to apply it VERY lightly, though -- 2 to 3 spritzes should do it nicely.

Séxual goes on smelling very, very like Eternity (one of my arch-nemeses); however, its drydown is phenomenally musky and sexy. Light but sexy; fresh but not aquatically so (unlike Eternity).

Btw, it ostensibly contains pheromones.

so sexual is musky on the drydown...good to know...i always wanted to try it

A different take. None of these are "cool" in the sense of brisk aquatic, which I find more antiseptic or de-sexed, but none are thick or heavy, either. Warm, a little bit animal, yes, but never heady:

Idole - not heavy, but warm and dark.
L'Anarchiste - kind of tart, sexy, and not as offputting as some have claimed.
Acier Aluminium - ditto. Warm/cool effect, seductive amber.
Ambre Russe - boozy, sensuous, but also fairly transparent.
Iskander - light alright, but with a certain male potency in the underlying woods.

He wants light sexiness.

Chanel Allure Sport Cologne is real light. So is Victoria's Secret For Him II. What else.. D&G Light Blue, Lacoste Essential, CK IN2U, CK One, basically anything CK, Acqua di Gio, Ralph Lauren Romance, Bvlgari PH..

Maybe Eau de Cartier Concentree. Fresh enough for the summer(that won't die) yet full bodied enough for the winter.

Tart? Tart my ass! A bloody mess of a scent. (and no I aint sayin that with an english accent). It smells like blood. I've never smelled tart blood... Interesting stuff I'd imagine.
This smells like you murdered a floridian orange picker after a long day of work in the hot sun with a greasy, old chainsaw and stand there bewildered over his corpse..

...yeah, it's pretty crazy stuff...

L'antimatiere by LesNez. Extremely understated but super sexy.

Gupts, I'll 'see' your "Minotaure", and raise you a YSL "L'Homme"!

I am ALWAYS told I smell hot when wearing this
post #14 of 26
I promise you. YSL's L'Homme will fulfill your every need. Smells great. It isn't terribly floural but rather Ambery and woodsy and citrus. Cop it

Gupts, I really like Minotaure but I would not call it light.

OK, I'll be a Creedhead on this:

1. Himalaya
2, Erolfa (if you're by the seashore, no I'm not kidding)
3, Selection Verte
4, Cypres-Musc ( if you can't afford Selection Verte)

And if we have to go niche:

Miller Harris: Cuir d'Oranger
Gai Mattiolo: Gai Mattiolo Uomo
Czech and Speke: Cuba

Cheers,

Mario

@ Mario

I find Minotaure very orangy & refreshing. For me the orange notes are there right through to the dry down where i can smell a touch of leather.

Recently i really doused myself in Minotaure hoping to get more sillage from it but it still remained very close to the skin. I called it 'light' for the same reason that despite 'over applying' it didn't get nowhere close to 'cloying'.

Ofcourse when we talk of fragrances, we can have completely different views and yet none of them would be wrong.

I recently got my hands on some Minotaure samples... Uhh. Maybe I am wrong but thats the fragrance that smells like OJ and Vanilla? If so thats probably one of the most distinctive scents I've smelled. It is a SILLAGE BEAST!!! Maybe I'm wrong but I remember it being on me for 9 hrs and 4 days later it being on my shirt still going strong.

On another note YSL L'homme is really good. Easy to find too.. Lacoste Pour Homme is nice but doesn't last too long 6 hrs at most and is really good with vanilla bean and rum. Reaction by Kenneth Cole is good with apple top notes and this may seem off but CK1 aint bad as for what you're askin for and also Eternity.

212 Carolina Herrera.

This one goes on light, airy, sexy, smooth and magnetic as hell with it and I ain't just talking about the bottle! Lasts 8 + hours on me but you gotta try it for yourself.

i forgot one: check out lacoste style in play a.k.a red...i know a lot of people find it one dimensional, but i love it...its fruity up front, but dries really nice and leaves you just plain smelling good and its very light and fresh...speaking of, i need to get me some more!

I would offer Zino Davidoff. It can come on a bit strong at first, but dries down beautifully. And sexy? Ninja please...
Nicolas has a good point there -- Zino Davidoff is SUPER sexy.
