Thanx Jillsy.....gave me an idea - gonna don Tabarome Milliseme which I sent Sudsy at her request and never got to hear whether she received or wore it.

This one's for you!

re. Ex Voto: on Friday, I sniffed one of their candles called Black Myrrh....simply gorgeous! I want a scent like that, but it's only available as a room spray

Celebrating one of the last summery days in Serge Lutens Sarrasins.

I think you can wear the room sprays on your skin too. Give it a try ...

It's hot here, and my hormonal hot flashes are not so much flashing as continuously simmering. We have a house guest staying with us. I've got to work today. I'm a bit nauseated. I don't think I want any fragrance.

For the record, I've just gotta say: "GO, MANDY!"
Our daughter is attempting her first full marathon today along Milwaukee's lakefront.

Good Luck Mandy - bet you do it in style!
I'm joining Ineespenes with Feminite du Bois on this
lovely autumnal day.

I have been wearing Burberry Brit Gold today.
To me this one is all about sandalwood, maybe with a hint of vanilla. After half an hour, I can barely smell it on myself, but hubby commented on how good I smelled, after ca 10 hours without reapplying...
I have heard that if you yourself can not smell your perfume, that then it suits you well. Could that really be a fact, do you think? (I do doubt that is the case, but...)
I started the day in Cristalle and switched off to Miss Dior.

Another Feminite du Bois here.

I've now freshly reapplied Bois de Copaiba and added to my wrists a few drops of Mitsoukoin pure parfum. Somehow Mitsouko makes all the notes in Bois de Copaiba come even more to life, finally I smell the 'crystallized orange pulp' and dough-y-ness of amaretto almond and even my beloved Mitsouko now smells better too.

I think I need this one too.

But on a different note, when I left work today I needed a bit of perfume therapy and sprayed on some Nan Green! Yes it was cooler, but the Green held its own in the breezy fall evening..so the love affair continues! (Nanadebary Green, YOU are no summer fling)
