Hate to say it, but I am bright eyed and bushy-tailed this ayem and gonna splash on Tinks' "Happy Scent" Fantasia de Fleurs to sustain the mood.

(When I would arise with a "Good Morning!" on my lips, my second ex-husband would say "Stop nagging!". "Morning people" can really drive other people nuts.)

What does one wear to a root canal?

When in doubt, skip the scent and treat yourself to a really good sniffing trip at the local niche shop after it's over? Eureka!!

Wish me luck.

Ouch take care at the dentist Zibeline, and make sure you sniff plenty of scents to prolong that anaesthesia!!

Item #1: Root canals aren't as bad as the name implies. There's no sensation when the root is dead. But I wish you a relaxed time. And I did exactly as you plan to do. The doc's office was adjacent to the best mall in our area. So, I recommend you get a rich, slurpy chocolate shake and go a-sniffin'. Let us know how everything turns out, Zibeline.

Item #2: Our daughter finished her marathon yesterday! :toppie: The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon was allowed to go on in spite of the heat. The Chicago Marathon was canceled half way through due to the temperature.

Item #3: SotD, Wet Garden, and even that seems heavy on this sweltering October day.

Well, it's over and done with and totally painless. Zero pain after the 'caine wore off! This endodontist was very reassuring and the whole experience was totally not terrifying!

So I went off to Blue Mercury in Princeton and sniffed away. I tried VIW and my daughter's current favorite Love in White, retested a few SLs and L'Artisans and looked around at the Trish McEvoy line (meh).

Well I find myself torn between Arabie and Rousse. At first sniff (over a year ago) I did not care for Arabie, but today I love it! But as it may be the novocaine influencing my senses (my coffee tastes like latex dental dams), I decided to wait.

As for the Creeds, I still have not found one that thrills me.

But SoTD is Arabie

And Quarry, much kudos to Mandy on her marathon! She must feel on top of the world!
