Later this month, as part of the 15th anniversary of Angel, Thierry Mugler will introduce a limited-edition Angel parfum extrait called Angel Las Part des Anges (Angel's Share). Not much has been known about this limited edition until now.
According to a Thierry Mugler Circle e-mail, the extrait (10 ml) is aged like cognac, in cherry wood casks (albeit for 3 months). And the bottle is beautiful... though I don't have a linkable picture, it has a chiseled star stopper and the star-shaped bottle is topped with Swarovski crystals. Pricing is unknown, but don't expect it to be cheap (after all, this is a collector's edition pure parfum).
Still, looking at Angel in perspective... 15 years after launch, it's #1 in France, #2 in Europe, and #8 in the US. Not too bad for a perfume that everyone in the industry thought was destined to fail...
