Infusion d'Iris vs. L'Eau d'Hiver

These two seem similar to me. Of course the Prada Infusion d'Iris is a later introduction than the Frédéric Malle. I think it must be that they have iris and heliotrope in common.

Anybody else find them similar?

Really? I don't find them at all similar.

I find L'eau D'hiver and Cologne Blanche very similar though.

Well, here's the thing...

I only found a similarity to the top notes of Infusion d'Iris and another 'green' iris scent: Le Labo Iris 39. But at the middle and drydown on Infusion, it got too powdery for me. So, perhaps the 'powder' is the only similarity I can possibly relate to in these two scents. But IdI is powdery iris and LEdH is powdery...air.

I think you may be refering to the "coolness", which I find similar in both scents. So yes, I do find them similar.

to my nose, Infusion d'iris is more similar to DC Bois d'iris than FM l'eau d'hiver
