Fresh melon dominated scents

I did a search for it but couldn't find any threads for this topic..

If I was looking for a a fresh summer scent with sort of dominating melon notes.. Nothing overpowering, but clean and subtle..

Was hoping to get some recommendations from you guys to kick off my search.. Thanks.. =)

Nice to see another man on the boards who likes melon prominent scents (we're in the minority here).

I suggest:

Mare by Creative Universe
New West for Her by Aramis
The Beach by Ava Luxe

Creed's Millesime Imperial. I really don't like water melon note in fragrances, bit MI is quite irresistible. It just smells good.

I think Paris Hilton for men has a very nice 'melon' note in it.
Millesime Imperial *as already suggested* has a very pleasing melon in it.

Not all melons smell the same. Besides watermelon, are other melons represented? Honeydews? Muskmelon? Queen Anne Pocket melons, which are wonderfully fragrant (though bland tasting) and used to be carried around in pockets by women in the Victorian era?

Kenneth Cole Reaction catches a LOT of flack on the board, but I personally LOVE IT. The top is dominated with watermelon & green apple, & the fruity notes are still apparent throughout but there is sandalwood & patchouli in the base that tempers the fruit quite a bit. It's one of my favorite scents, especially in the summer.

-Reaction by Kenneth Cole: melony-fruity without lasting power, but very beautiful and pleasant.
-Paris Hilton for men: Water melony, without lasting power.
Adding:
-Polo Blue: Well blended and very popular cocumber-melony.
-Eternity summer 2007: Water melony with bad lasting power.
-Very Sexy for him 2: It doesn't have melon in it, but the scent generaly is reminisent of water-melon in a classy way IMO.
Also recommend giving Escape by Calvin Klein a try.

Good point scentsitivity! I myself was wondering which kind of mellon were you willing to smell on you...
Anyway my suggestion goes with Spazio Krizia for men, which blends a powerful mellon (not watermellon) note.

OP Men -- fruits and melon though more complex like Cool Water.

Both can be found for cheap online.

A nice male scent with melon is Frank #3 by Frank of Los Angeles.

Notes: cucumber,casaba melon,citrus,lavender,basil,clary sage,oak moss,suede,musk and patchouli
