Eucalyptus anyone?

I have always like the way it smells in a house or buisness but I can't decide if I want to try it in the house or not. It is pretty strong so a little would go a long way. Have any of you tried this? I don't want the smell to get in my clothes and clash with my fragrances. Do you think there is a risk of this?

I like it too. I get the occasional eucalyptus branch bouquet for Michaels or AC Morre craft stores and put it in a large vase in a corner.

Yankee Candle makes a great candle and the Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint line is amazing. I am looking to give the oils and diffusers a try, but i havent yet. The hand soap in itself is incredible. I cant keep guests out of the bathroom at parties...now that I think of it, maybe something else is going on in there...

If the eucalyptus scent is too strong, adding hints of lemon and peppermint or spearmint usually rounds it off quite well.

I like the smell of eucalyptus from michaels or anywhere too....it does smell good. sweet spicy and woodsy to me.

I like the smell, but found it kind of unwearable via Lacoste Booster.

Especially now that I joined a gym with a eucalyptus steam room, I don't think I'd be able to break the association.

I LOVE the eucalyptus candle by Thymes. It's a wonderful scent that doesn't overpower a room or house. It's just right. This has been a staple of mine for years.

I often blend eucalyptus oil, cinnamon bark and a dash of pine and patchouli and put it in my diffuser. Smells great.

I love Eucalyptus, too. Jo Malone has a nice Eucalyptus room scent which doesn't overpower.

I recall a strong eucalyptus note in Santa Maria Novella's pot-pourri.

Yes. Australian Eucalyptus, as a dried plant, is very nice for a guest bathroom.

For a small room, we had seven or eight largish bouquets alongside one wall in what were Balinese fishing baskets and it worked like a charm.

About 8-12 square feet of bouquet tempered the guest bathroom quite nicely.

The plant material remains fragrant and quietly doing its work for well over six months at a time.

If anyone is thinking of something like this for a bathroom, I would suggest having a rectangularish container made in dark walnut with room at the top for a generous amount of eucalyptus plant material, capped with a meshwork cover to keep the dust off of the leaves.

Works like a charm.

For years I've made a little office spray of Eucalyptus oil, lavender and orange. I put a few drops in a small travel spray bottle filled with water and Everclear and give a spray a few times a day to clean the air, works wonders. I also do a peperment sage and clove one closer to spring
