As a Guerlain collector, I've come across many different formaltions and concentrations of the different scents. New, slightly vintage, very vintage, EdC, EdT, EdP, parfum. I can get totally confused and even frustrated because I want to find and own THE VERY version of the scent, but I end up in total confusion.

Sometimes vintage is better than new, sometimes the opposite, sometimes I don't know if the EdC is more 'right' than the EdT. Someone on Basenotes has commented that you should just regard perfumes like wine - you can't find THE version of it. Perhaps a charming idea?

Guess this is not the most interesting question to bring to the male forum...
