Hi folks!
Sorry to post this in the general discussions forum, but I have PM'd a number of users over the last week with regard to my query and haven't had a single response yet.

Has anyone ordered online from this German store? If so, please let me know what you thought and if the transaction was a smooth one. Im thinking of placing an order, but would prefer some feedback before processing the order.

Thanks in advance!

I've ordered from them 8 times over the last 2 years, mostly samples. Never had any problems with them.

You gets what you pays for. The prices are on the high side, the service is excellent, their stock is superb carrying lots of frags nobody else does. And no creed to clutter it all up and take all the attention ;-) (I am a huge creed fan but it is great to have somewhere which stocks all the other good stuff)

Have been a regular and loyal customer since 2003 and definitely recommend them.

Perfect 100+ % service, excellent packaging.

I was not completely satisfied. They sent an older bottle of Bois Farine while when I made the order, the image was of the newer bottle.
Also the shipping took more than two weeks

Hi there,
I'm also here in Denmark-though I don't feel trapped!
I like FIF a lot-good service-good scents-though perhaps a bit high in price. Their samples always being nice and large! I've ordered from them a lot of times-and always happy, since they always send me some extra new samples other than I wanted.

Thanks very much for the feedback everyone!
Then I am assured they are legit and stock quality products!

Another question then to maybe those living in Scandinavia... were you hit with a hefty customs/duty to pay when the package crossed the border? The reason i ask is that online stores such as Strawberrynet reimburse the customs costs 100%... but I dont see any such promise on the FIF site, and with the size order i am planning, any additional duty may just force me to sell a kidney...

Has anyone here been hit with such a tax?
Thanks again everyone!

I've had two positive experiences with them. At the time, Etat Libre was difficult to find here, and they were the only online store that carried them. Anyway, great service, fast shipping, 2 thumbs up.

ps - it appeared as though they stopped their sample service last time I checked???

It's still listed on the site, bottom right box (information), click samples. 3 freebies for each bottle ordered.

Sorry, I meant you used to be able to purchase any sample right from the product page...they would have it in the dropdown box.

Actually nevermind...I just looked at the feature is there again...it was gone last time I wanted to order some??? Maybe I'm just crazy...

No need to worry about taxes inside Europe, they are only a problem if you order stuff from another continent.

Yepp, at least no worries as long as you order from an EU country.

Hi Dimitri!

FIF is in Germany and you live in Denmark. Both countries are members of the EU.
As I know, there are no customs taxes for goods received by post
in an EU-country from an other EU-country (so called "free movement
of goods within the EU"). I get parcels from other EU-countries too
and I never pay taxes.
