Guerlain has become one of my favorite houses. I am interested in what your favorites are.

The directory lists something like 166 fragrances by Guerlain while the poll function has a limit of 20 line items. Obviously, some tough choices had to be made.

I included all of the male and shared fragrances. I lumped all of the Aqua Allegorias into one line item (if it receives a lot of votes, perhaps a followup poll could concentrate on them alone). Variations of Vetiver and L'Instant are unfortunately lumped together as well.

I also wanted to look at the EdTs and EdPs separately, but that study will also have to wait. Please feel free to post a reply indicating which strength version you voted for.

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO VOTE MORE THAN ONCE!
CORRECTION: YOU CAN VOTE ONLY ONCE BUT YOU CAN CHOOSE MORE THAN ONE FRAGRANCE WHEN YOU DO VOTE!

BTW, I voted for the EdP version of Heritage!

I voted 'other' but it has to be SDV.

I apologize for any confusion. When you can only pick 20 fragrances out of 166 you have to make choices that won't allow everybody's favorites to be included.

Because of the limits, I was only able to include the male and shared fragrances that are listed in the directory (and I had to consolidate some variations and product extensions there as well).

I know that Mitsouko is considered uni-sex by a lot of Basenoters but it is not listed that way. If I had included Mitsouko, then where do I find a stopping point for listing additional female fragrances? For instance, I wouldn't have known to include Apres L'Ondee.

I am glad that you posted your favorites and I hope that others are not shy about doing the same thing!

TwoRoads

Vetiver is my favorite with Imperiale pretty close behind.
I voted for L'instant
Heritage is where it's at. CLASS
Voted for Jicky because it's the one I love most of the listed Guerlains, but had it been included, I would have voted for L'Heure Bleue.
I voted for Jicky, Mouchoir de Monsieur, Vetiver, Habit Rouge, and L'Instant PH.

I own other Guerlains that I like a lot, but the above each get a vote because they're all favorites.

Aargh, didn't realize it was a multiple choice poll! Would have voted for Mouchoir, Impériale and Habit Rouge, too.

I didn't know either, so I voted for Jicky that holds all the guerlinade-notes that I love so much...

Yeah, Heritage would be second for me.

Where's Vol de Nuit?
Aside for "others" I voted for Jicky, Bois d'Armenie and Coriolan

Agreed!
It used to be Vetiver but then I discovered L'Instant.

L'Instant EdT - the EdP is too dark, the lighter versions are all lacking something from the drydown.

By the way: does anybody know the notes of L'Instant? I've discovered a similarity and would like to be sure. Thank you in advance.

I voted for Derby. Wish it would come back.
I chose Derby, though I was torn between it and Jicky. Who can choose only one Guerlain?

Just a note to remind me where this multiple-choice poll stood after 79 votes:

Heritage and Vetiver are tied at 17 votes each.
Jicky has 12 votes.
Habit Rouge and L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme are tied for fourth with 11 votes each.

I went with Eau du Coq. I bought this during my days at the university and it was my first taste into the world of "really nice perfumes". A brilliant shooting star of a fragrance.
