Am wearing Ombre Rose today and I guess it smells a little dated but tis still good... anyone else have thoughts on this one?

I love Ombre' Rose. I don't have any at the moment - but I love the dirty rose and powder. Such a great price too. I bought a big bottle for my Nan in law - but no way is she a doddering old biddy - she borrows my bodice ripper steamy romances, so I feel that OR is a sexy juice in old cardigan.

Fleur de The Rose Bulgare
Voleur de Roses
SMN the Rose edc.
Love all three of these and Paris, of course.

Wow.... 7 pages and no mention of L'Eau d'Italie's Paestum Rose? I'm shocked.
Highly recommended!

I also second the Rose Poivrée and Opône recommendations.

I've been sampling Annick Goutal Ce Sois Ou Jamais and it smells like a fresh bouquet of red roses.

Need to throw in this comment here in case anyone does a search for "wild rose."
The children's fragrance La Rose du Petit Prince was created for little girls (to complement the Petit Prince fragrance for little boys). It has a strong hesperidic (citrus) top, but once it mellows on the skin it starts blossoming into a sweet, mild, wild rose (no rosewater or potpourri --yay!).

Montale Highness Rose for a true, heartbreakingly romantic rose
Juliette has a Gun Lady Vengeance for a warm and spicy rose
Frederic Malle Lipstick Rose for that retro/budoir feeling
Guerlain Rose Barbare is my don't-mess-with-me rose
