Goodmorning my dears at this indecent early hour

But: wide awake and ready for the next 'close encounter of the third kind' with clients.

I think a few drops of Chamade extrait will be perfect for today

Have a great Thursday!

Update: I only now had the opportunity to read yesterday's SotD

Wordbird: so happy for you that things finally went well. And of course you can bring your decant collection for a playdate with mine. Maybe they will breed
Ah, the patter of tiny sample feet.........

So very relieved that Mr. Neil is lenient to unfaithful women.
But Saturday you will have our undivided attention

Yikes! Outdoor thermometer down to thirty plus this ayem (0+ to Celsians) - couldn't wait for Official Neil Morris Day - had to draw Midnight Flower around me for sexy comfort. A satin blend of flowers and citrus and my fave figgy over amber and a twitch of patchouli.

Oooohhh!

Yang by Jacques Fath today. Lots of tea!

Hello, all!

Wearing In Fiore Fumee d'Ambre on this chilly, clear autumn day.

Notes: Incense, vetiver root, patchouli leaves, musk, sweet amber.

A dark grey, rainy and windy day here. I am enjoying Musc Ravageur today. :bounce:

Starting the day with Amourage Eau d' Amourage this morning.

The notes say fruit and flowers - but all I get are herbs and woods. And it disappears in seconds. I have a feeling it's my nose and not the perfume

Chanel No 19 and coffee on this cool and sunny morning!

Musse, I just love that little rascal in your hand. We used to have little gerbils as pets and, surprisingly, they can be affectionate.

Today I was feeling adventurous and dug into my sample bin. Pulled out LLP Venezia. Thank you ComDiva. Will report back my impressions.

Time to celebrate! ... with a Dark Gift, which is going out in today's mail.
Please tell us this job won't eat into your review-writing time!
Gee, you as their teacher--those kids are twice gifted!

Wearing a scent from Musse--really, really, pretty, floral and sweet: Matthew Williamson.

Wait a sec ... you "intereviewed"?

Congratulations on your new job Purplebird!

I smell like a beautiful old Roman Cathedral in MESSE de MINUIT this morning. Perfect for a cold crisp Nov. day. Warm spicy and delicious! (thanks Dimps!)

Congratulations Purple Bird! Wonderful news!

Today I'm wearing Vivienne Westwood Boudoir. It's "naughty" image is really lost on me.
I do not get the heavy duty civet that some do, just a lovely woody floral and I am wanting sandalwood today!

A co-worker called in so I will be picking some extra hours this afternoon on what supposed to be my day off! But, before that -- off to paint my MIL's bedroom, the color she picked is none less than... red!

Congratulations to our both Birdies: Wordbird on selling her house and Purplebird on getting the job! Time to celebrate, yes?

Still faithful to Neil Morris in Intimate Gardenia. It is my Day 5 in his fragrances, and there are some tendencies forming up: first, he has something meaningful to say as a "nose", and then he elevates and energizes the meaning in balanced ingredients, and this combination makes his point all the more meaningful and memorable. He lets you know that he knows that you know what the good fragrance is, and you are in it together!

Congratulations to Purplebird. May your new job be as great as you hope it will be

Celebrating in the scent I know you like: Samsara

How did you like it Mike?
First time I sniffed it I thought I sniffed a heavenly marzipan note, later I have more come to think of it as smelling like the bitter almond oil I use for baking, only diluted and added some vanilla and musc....

Visiting LA.
But, still had no chance to
go parfume shopping,
or sampling.
So, again I'm wearing
Voile D'Ambre
since that was all I brought with me.

An excellent choice might I add .

I'm wearing Love's True Bluish Light today. This has been driving me crazy all day, but for some reason it is reminding me of Douce Amere today Have I totally lost my mind?

Congratulations Purplebird, Wordbird and Indiscreet*bird

Venezia was wonderful today. It stayed with me all day, warm and smooth... a beautiful oriental.

Now I'm enjoying Caron's Violette Precieuse -- love the violets and orange blossom. Thank you Kyra!
I woke up craving Nuit de Noel today, so I dug out my sample and it was well worth it. Gorgeous! Now am ending the day in YR Voile d'Ambre.

Congrats to the "birds" and to indiscreet.

Playing with AL Incense Noir. Complicated feelings about this one,so far.
Yikes, I'm up late. Basenotes sucked me back in, but if I want net time these days I gotta give up sleep time. At my age, that's a bitter choice! I luxuriated in Rose parfum, a lovely soliflore, and lots of it, reapplied as often as I felt like it. See all you dears when I wake up!
yay congrats purplebird, wordbird and indiscreet!
