NEW: Curve Connection... will it ever stop?

First, there was Curve. Then, there was Curve Crush. Next, there was Curve Wave. After that, there was Soul by Curve and Curve Chill. But was Curve Kicks the last one in the family? Nope.

Now I heard from the Liz Claiborne Cosmetics vendor rep at Macy's today that they plan on launching another Curve variant... named Curve Connection. The selling sheet says that the scents (for men and women) will be aimed at the text-messaging/blogging crowd (read: it will compete head-on with CK IN2U). The bottle will be the same standard Curve bottle, but with different graphics and glass.

P.S.: Curve Crush will be discontinued... if you like it, stock up!

This is sad.....Curve is one of those scents that I respected....well....in a certain way. No I never purchased this....but I did think it was alright.
This has gone far enough. What I don't understand is this.....with the economy the way it is.....Where do these brands get the dollars to launch all of this junk? I would spend my dollars on something that will stand the test of time....or I would make an attempt to do this. What a waste.....This is really sad.

Personally - I don't think the teenage male or the "not into fragrance but I'll wear what my girl buys me" really could careless how many Curves are launched.

Remember this is who these fragrances are geared towards.

Sigh. I still like the original Curve, but that's the only one out of the line I really care for. Instead of making ALL these Curve variations I wish they would've stuck with the original, Crush, & Soul. Maybe vary the marketing on these 3 a little bit.
