Fujiyama Black Label and Sergio Tacchini's Stile because,
a. I posted here about them, and
b. I asked if anyone had ever tried them, and
c. I got zero responses.

I like them even more now that I know I'm the only one who has them.

Ha,I found another one and I bet that you have never owned/sampled /heard of it:
Kinky Homme by You Young Coveri
http://www.basenotes.net/ID26122444.html
That's a cheap alternative to Clinique's Happy.
I would like to add
Lacoste Land (my worst blind buy ever-it has nothing to share with Hugo Boss Elements- which I adore,I repeat I adore)
and
Byblos Homme (that's a nice lemony summer scent).
Both are found in the wardrobe of just one Basenoter .To be more precise in their swapping list...

Mine are very short-lived scents:

Etro Resort - very limey, summery fragrance in tall 5 oz. bottles, seemingly made just for a quick 6-month run at Sephora.

Arran Aromatics After the Rain EDT & shower gel - another summery, woody-floral, part of Target's recent, brief (and already discontinued) experiment in premium bath products, imported from Scotland.

I have one...does anyone own Nascar cologne? I bought a bottle at Big Discount for a gag.

I have both the Follia di Aquarama offerings. Both are sort of bland, but I think I like L'Altra Follia a little better than the other.

I have a bottle of Eau Cendree. In fact, I just wore it yesterday. Smoke and honey. What a scent!

I don't know if anyone else has this but I won a bottle of Penhaligon's Esprit de Roi on ebay a while back.

It smells a little bit like Castile but without the floral element and a bit sweeter. Definately unisex.
Who else has:

Bois Noir (Chanel)
Stardust for Men
Samarkande (Yves Rocher)

Also have a bottle of this odd cologne from Italy called "909 Man." Bought it off (where else) "the eBay." I will post a photo of it later today when I am back home.
"Herban Cowboy: Dusk" It's organic. Or at least they would have us think so.

I got it at Whole Foods. It's actually pretty unique. Tons of smoke, leather and herbs on top. Dries to a rather bland amber. I wear it sometimes.
It's not in the Directory, so maybe...

Parfumerie Generale - 10 (Aomassai)?
I'm proud owner of a japanese bottle of Shiseido men edt.

It is even not listed in BN directory!

Great find! As you know, Bois Noir is the original name for Égoïste.

I am starting to get interested in vintage fragrances especially ones where the name of the fragrance has been changed.

I have "A Gentleman's Cologne" which was one of the original names for Chanel Pour Monsieur (1955) .

Bulgarian Rose Musk (vintage )
This is actually not a frag, but oil essence used in many popular frags.

Galimard Ma Faute edt. (for women)
I ordered atomisers from Galimard and they sent 30 ml of Ma Faute free.

It smells something similar to Narcizo Rodriguez for her edt without musk note

Aomassai for me as well. Aomassai is currently my favorite sweet/gourmand scent. Sweet, complex, and dynamic. Love it.

If any of you own the following I would like hear your thoughts about them:

CB I Hate Perfume, Dirt Accord: Mushroom (Chanterelle)
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, Samhainaphobia

It (Stardust for Men) is pretty amazing stuff. Too bad it's discontinued (and impossible to find now).

I am always happy to display my collection to anyone interested. If you are ever back in SJ, let me know. (That goes to everyone btw).

Wow! - Milord should be a very likely candidate, it doesn't even seem to be listed. Somehow, the name speaks to me as if from an earlier life, or is it just Edith Piaf's chanson ....?

From my own collection - I wonder if anybody else has these :

Roberto Capucci, Corps Fou (edit: not the only one!)

Ronaldo Esper, Graphite

Ronaldo Esper, Future

Patrizier: Lavendel Tabac (estimated to be from 1960)

I sent a mini of Royal Blue to....somebody....some male basenoter who has drifted out of my consciousness. Heh heh, but I remember the fragrance vividly.

I wonder if anyone else has

Jasmin -- Bruno Acampora
Uninhibited -- vintage original Cher
Rose Royale -- Shiseido (so hard to spell for me....)

My wardrobe has nothing terribly rare. My boyfriend's wardrobe just down the hall, on the other hand, has:
  • Crazy for men (Elite Parfums, Paris)
  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (F. Manusch Cosmetic, Salzburg)
  • Andros for men (distrib. Valentine Products, Inc., South Norwalk, CT -- contains Androsten)
  • Spirit of Springfield (Puig)

The first of these is an aquatic scent with a melon top note; the second is an old-fashioned woody floral and is/was sold in the gift shop at the Mozart museum in Salzburg, or so I'm told; and the third -- who knows, could it be a knockoff of Jovan Andron? The fourth (the Puig) is a cut above the rest, resembling Caron pour un homme.

I have one too, in the Etruscan Head bottle

I also have Avon Spicy in the Gavel bottle

and Avon Wild Country in the Wild Turkey bottle

My sister-in-law sold Avon back in those days

Milord is from 1932, reintroduced in 1948. My bottle is from the 1960s by the look of it. Don't know when it was discontinued.

I used to have Graphite and Future and I do have Corps Fou.

Does anyone else have Montale Deluziont? I never see it discussed here.
Sorry Guys!
Neiges Pour Hommes, Goce and Eroica by Kanebo, and Les Copains (both) are in my hands.
Onda (Vero Kern) too - but in samples.

I`ll try to suggest some of mine
Aquatail homme - 4C (japanese jewellery company)
Le Vert by Manoel Canovas
Eau de Vetiver Givenchy (yes, vintage)
Juchten 4711 in perfume (vintage)
Ambre et Cuir Parfums de Sauze (vintage again, EDC)
Chypre de Sauze (mini vintage)

samples of Kamakuro Shiseido, Cuir de Russie GUERLAIN (!), Moskovskaya Slava (Guerlain!), Piroguier (CSP), Hubert Maes trio, trio La Collection Particuliere Dior (2007), Tom of Finland (2008, Etat Libre d`Orange), Pluie Cypsan, Arome Assassin and Doux Barbare by Parfumerie Generale, Aztecao by ISIPCA.

And I doubt that somebody has Haute Tradition Ambre Cologne (or Figue Cologne) made by Pierre Bourdon for Faberlic in 2005,
and Mandy Aftel`s Wilde Vetivert cologne made for Grandiflorum in 1997,
and Marcella Wouters Succes fou pour homme also.

Some other possible contenders I acquired in the last months:

Cartier Santos Eau De Sport,

YSL Jazz Prestige,

Trussardi Action Sport Uomo.

What's are your trully remarkable additions?

Rotterdam, by Herzog & de Meuron. The ingredients are : Rhine water, dog, hashish, algae, patchouli, vin chaud, fur and tangerine. As incredible as it sounds, it smells great.
I have a nearly full bottle of Rochas' Audace, which was only given out or sold at fashion shows in the 70s (possibly the early 80s, too). It was never sold via retail or wholesale. This is kind of a woman's version of Grey Flannel, in which I really can smell the violet.

I have a partial bottle of Early American Old Spice for Women (no idea what it's supposed to smell like but it's smells kind of floral/spicy).

black suede? i doubt anyone owns that but im not sure so if your one of the minority who owns this decent fragrance then stand up and be counted lol... who knows
post #108 of 504
I haven't heard anyone mention that they own Profumum Thundra yet. It's a pretty weird scent, starts out like mushrooms then moves into a wet earth sort of thing, so it's probably not too popular ... but I might be wrong about that.

King David
King Solomon

Both by Ein Gedi Pefumers/Israel. Anybody else?

An almost full black bottle of Eros, by O Boticário.

My best compliment getter ever, Fahrenheit in a close second.

Of course, when you are very young and attractive, you get much more noticed... it probably explains the compliments part.

Unmercifully discontinued a long time ago.
Anyone have any of these fragrances??
Yosh Han's Urban Essence & Shipwrecked (from The Pirate Store, 826 Valencia, she managed in SF before she was a famous perfumer)
DSH's The Afternoon
The Bermuda Perfumery's Bermudiana (now discontinued)
Kiehl's Moroccan Jasmin, Corriander Essence, Cucumber Essence & Vanilla Essence
Evan Healy's Fir Absolute solid perfume
Guerlain's Eau Hegemoni (can't make out the writing on the d*#$t)
Guerlain Quand Vient La Pluie
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Unseelie, Blue Moon, Red Moon, Harvest Moon, Black Moon, Pink Moon, Wolf Moon, La Belle Au Bois Dormant, Venice, Umbra, Eclipse, Earth Rat, Red Lantern, Horn of Plenty, Siren, Goblin...well, I have over 100 BPAL scents

L'Artisan Parfumeur Eau des Merveilleuses
Etro Via Verri

Two I had no idea even existed until I ran across them...

And then there is the Knize Two.

I actually also have a bottle of the Zaharoff pour Homme, even a bottle of the lotion too. And there is at least one other BN'er with a bottle, since I traded him my second bottle.
A bottle labeled "Lincoln pour homme" from a nameless company. Bought it at a discount store years ago. I think I paid about $5. Smells horrible, don't ask me why I got it 'cause I don't know...
