I think it's just the regular department store prices....no surprise....last time I heard Acqua Di Gio was 93.00 Cdn for the 100ml bottle before the 14% sales tax.

I recommend trying to find some discount designer perfume shops...or possibly online vendors.

This might help as well:

Good Luck!

Thanks for the encouragement! Infusion d'Iris being a new release, its not likely I would have tracked it down before xmas.

Oh well...just wanted to complain a bit.

Sorry to resurrect the thread. Just received the "Beauty" Holt Renfrew Holiday 2007 catalogue. Here are some of the prices:

Ineke: After My Own Heart 75ml C$85
Creed: Virgin Island Water 30ml C$141, 120ml C$310
Juliette has a Gun: 50 ml C$82
FM: Carnal Flower 100ml C$289

Quite pricey I'd say!

nope..Vancouver..sorry I think it's now 7% GST and 6% PST....or the other way around...can't keep up with the increases and decreases in taxes...so it's 13% total now...but I remember a few years ago, it was 14.5% total..dropped down to 14% and now 13%.

The Holts in Van is really nice (they carry FM), they gave me the wrong size pump spray for my Cologne Blanche (comes as an attachment), and they sent the correct size at cost by mail to my address...a bunch of sorries on the phone (to the point that I got annoyed) and to my surprise..a ton of really nice extra's..various creed samples and a few 7ml minis. They charge so much, but it's defiantly like receiving luxury first class service, and I don't want to start with the service you get when you actually get into the store.

BTW, didn't know the Creeds were that pricey there...wow...
