No scent today. I've got a big workout planned after work and don't like any scents prior to working out. I'll be heading to bed shortly thereafter, so I don't see much point in spraying after, either.

On a positive note though, I just picked up a bottle of Ungaro II from a fellow member here and should receive it in a few days. It'll be my first experience with Civet. I'm a bit nervous!

Iskander (Parfum d'Empire)

cedrat, mandarin en grapefruit, amber and musk

"expressing the ardour and athlethic beauty which rises in the thermal baths and stadiums of the Ancient Greek Empire"

That soo doesn't sound like me, when I get up in the morning and stare in the mirror...

(You look pretty good from here, dear boy!!)

After a couple days of girly girl fruits and flowers needed a break - Vetyver Haiti from CSP. The wood smoke is sad and haunting over the slightly astringent sweet amber. I may perk it up later with something sunnier.

Testing a sample vial of Juliette Has a Gun Lady Vengeance. "A very thorny Bulgarian rose marries patchouli and vanilla."

I think it's very nicely executed, though not as interesting as some (I'm thinking Rose d'Homme specifically). Lady Vengeance may need to go on my wishlist anyhow, because the name is fantastic.

I need to have a break from scents for a few days. I have a flu with ear inflammation and can barely distinguish Dior Homme from Live Jazz. I hope my sense of smell will return to normal soon...

First it was snowing, then it was snowing huge snowflakes and raining, then it went to heavy rain, then freezing rain, then light rain and snow, then a little hail, then back to rain/snow mixture now.

Cold, but Gucci Envy is keeping me warm.
