Larry King to Launch his first fragrance

I just found out that Larry (famous talk show/night radio host) just signed a contract with Liz Claiborne to launch his first scent called Talk Women and Talk Man. Reps from Claiborne said it will be a woody floral blend based on some of Mr. Kings wife's favorate flowers for women. The men's version will be based on a fresh clean accord of citrus and soft spices based on shaving soap that Larry uses for Europe. In the following summer a possible flanker will launch called Night Talk a afterhours scent for the urban couple.

The bottle is discribed to be in the shape/design of Larry King's iconic microphone he has used to conduct his world famous interviews with.

This sounds really exciting with Larry taking a step into the fragrance industry!...I know I can't wait to sample it!

Quote from Larry - "if Tim Mcgraw can do it hell a dried up old man like me can."

At any rate, I hope they don't even dream of putting his face on the box. It will never sell.

...and they'll need to avoid THAT visual image like the plague. I don't know many who want to smell like Larry OR an old man.

Oh man. I'll admit it's funny, but this is kind of gross too. When Larry King comes out with a fragrance you know the commercial industry has overstepped it's bounds.

Unfortunately, there already is a Donald Trump fragrance.
A Larry King fragrance? It should be called Eau de Self-Importance, exclusive at Marshall's for the first season, then it will be rolled out to Wal Mart for syndication.

This is so sad. I always thought that having a tag of YSL or Dior or Gucci makes frags attractive enough, if people don't care much about the scent. Then came Hugo Boss. Then came Paris Hilton and Carlos Santana. Now it's Larry King.
I wonder why these people don't launch a school for actors, or international institute of journalism, or some kind od producers' company. Why they all want to produce fragrance? And, why the fashion companies think the scents would sell better under Larry King's brand than say under Lacoste or Davidoff?

The good part is probably that they don't spoil the brands we really admire. Imagine these scents labeled as Dior Talk or YSL Night Interview or something.

OH, COME ON GUY'S...I'M REALLY SERIOUS BOUT THIS NEW FRAGRANCE, YOU KNOW....

Larry King? EEW! Gross!
Why doesn't it contain notes of nicotine and old fart?
Larry King... ppppffffff!!??

This is a guy who proudly proclaims that he does no preparation for interviews, particularly reading someone's book. It's easier to just chill out and then toss softball questions. No work ethic at all. You know, maybe it will be popular for that reason!

Are we being punked???....Why???.....Come on now.......Who's next for gracious sake???.....

Maybe it should be a layering fragrance. "Tonight, Larry King with Paris Hilton! Stayed tuned tomorrow for Larry King with Usher!"

I think Larry King has good taste and he has been all over the world, among all kinds of elegant people, unlike some of these sluts coming out with scents with their names stuck on them. Everyone gets old eventually, if you're lucky.

$100 says he made his decision within 48 hours of interviewing Ms. Hilton.

I predict:

Top notes: Ointment
Middle Notes: Ointment
Base Notes: Coffee, Ointment

How Low can the fragrance business go? I am so sick of celeb scents.....I will jump for joy when this trend is over.....I feel that this celeb trend is the very thing that is destroying the fragrance business.
