Oh yes, TGIF!
Raining cats and dogs over here and we're expecting an icy cold front over the weekend.

I'm wearing EldO Rossy de Palma Eau de Protection for the day.

Wishing you a wonderful day, Basenotes friends!

Good ol' musk rat today... as my colleague calls Musc Ravageur. This is a good staple for me.

I'm wearing Annick Goutal's Rose Absolue over AG's creme splendide body cream.
Wow Sestra I can almost smell you from here - gorgeous!
Freezing cold here in Shropshire today and, to make it worse, our central
heating has broken down and my Hubbie is on the road to Coventry and
can't help!! After putting on about four layers of jumpers I reached for
HOT COUTURE (Givenchy).
Good morning folks Hope the scent and all the layers with clothes helps Kewart! Here the snow has come back again. But actually prefer this to lots of slippery ice! :O Time to drag out my "Hippie-coat" I think sotd is Gaultier 2.Hope you all have a nice day.
Oh yes, I smell divine. I'm sure you do too, though the Hot Couture is unknown to me. I'll search it and read up.

I think you are probably marginally colder than me just now. I'm sitting under an vent that blows cold air down my back. This is doing nothing for my sillage.

Good luck with the heating. I hope it won't cost too much to mend - imagine wasting money on radiators that could be spent on perfume.

going to sleep soon in lolita lempicka midnight fragrance

carrying on in Immortelle l"Amour again today. This one got the thumbs up from my ten year old "Nose" - the one who likes no.5 , L'Heure Blue and Allegoria Anisa Bella. Immortelle is in good company.

on a work marathon even though its a holiday...yesterday, today and through the weekend...
sniffing in my fragrances deeply and carrying onward...

My feeling is one of Insolence - so I'm off to Black Friday (for our friends across the pond - this refers to the day after Thanksgiving when most retailers pull out the big guns for Christmas shopping sales and count on the day to put them "in the black")....and the throngs who will be storming the doors for - flowers???!!!

(This pretty Guerlain behaves herself nicely on me....not-too-sweet berries and violets and iris. Was late catching it - Hilary SWANK???!!!)
It's off to work wearing Derby this morning.

Black Friday shopping in Mitsouko
In Timbuktu, will be on the other side of the counter for the Black Friday. Freezing outside, however our space heaters produce so much heat that I woke up in sweat. Hope some of the packages that I sent Priority will arrive today to you, ladies.
Vol de Nuit today and unlike most other people this is the start of a working-long-hours weekend. That's the penalty for being a freelancer. (The payoff is doing your shopping on a Monday when everything is blissfully peaceful.)
Ungaro III this AM for this sunny and warm south Florida day.
Working today in Pour Une Femme de Caron, one of my long-time favorite cool weather scents.
Testing Sarrasins for the first time today, thanks to the lovely LiB!

Like with most Lutens I have tested, this one opens very strong, almost aggressive (if one can use that word in this context...), makes me want to protect my nose from it, but soon, very soon..........aahhhh...... mmmmmm.......*swoon*.............

Have an ab fab Friday, my dears! :bounce:

Thank you for the explanation of Black Friday, Taolady!
Wordbird, rtamara, I'm with you!
Worked a long, concentrated Thanksgiving day producing a magazine I hope to send out for proofing tonight or tomorrow, and then I'm receiving another magazine to sew together asap! After that I've got a buyers guide to polish off, and then invoicing ... and then ... and then, a break for a few days.

Smelling like Lemon Fresh Joy , moisturized with Cefiro, doused in Eleftorea perfume.

I enjoyed
Bulgari Femme
so much last night,
I had to wear it again today .

Crisp yet beautiful,
sugared violets and roses,
and so similar to
Lipstick Rose.

I want to start reviewing my samples from Quarry.
They sit there, calling my name, asking to reserve all my arm space.
If I don't have time to start testing them, I will probably re-wear Samsara today.
I have the parfum, which I bought untested because I usually like parfums better than EDPs (and I liked the bottle.) However, this is the exception. I like Samsara EDP better. The parfum is non-diffusive, dense and sweet, and it has a strong dominant note which my husband says smells like coconut. I don't think he is right, but if it weren't for the jasmine, I might agree. It makes one wonder if the formulations changed for each concentration. I know Chanel does that, but I didn't suspect it of Guerlain.

Staying far far away from the malls today.

Instead - spent a quality morning cooking breakfast and playing Madden '06 (an American Football video game).

This afternoon - Bowling with the boys.

All in Ineke After the Fall.

I'll do the shopping thing next week....

Trying L'Ombre Fauve this morning.

Too bad it's a limited edition.

Tonight.... Company for dinner (we do classic roast turkey AFTER our vegetarian Thanksgiving... Tao, Ineespenes, Dimples, anyone else who responded... Make your plane reservations now for next November, and we'll make extra spanikopita!).

Going into the evening in a full wearing of Michael Storer Winter Star, his latest women's "scent-in-production." Am finding it purchase-worthy for the top and drydown notes alone, which include a *completely* glorious UNsweetened caramel note. Mmmmmmmmmmmm!
Lanvin Vetiver (new) as SotE. Light, close to the skin and barely Vetiver but nice.
