Basenotes Awards 2007 - predictions

Not so much who you voted for, but who do you think will actually win this year?

I think the best new women's release will be Prada's Infusion D'Iris. I think the best new men's will be Narciso Rodriguez. I think women's celeb will be one of the Sarah Jessica Parker's, and the men's will be Diddy's.

Those are my predictions for the "new" stuff categories.

Best new women: Euphoria Blossom by cK
Best day wear fragrance for women: CHANCE Eau Fraîche by CHANEL
Best evening fragrance for women: Emporio Diamonds by Armani
Best women Packaging: Quand vient la pluie by Guerlain

Best new men: Narciso Rodriguez for him
Best day wear fragrance for men: Calvin Klein MAN
Best evening fragrance for men: Tom Ford for men

Also I want to thank the moderators for improvements they made in the voting systems.

I agree (and voted) Infusion d'Iris and Narciso For Him as best new scents for '07.

I bet Narciso Rodriguez will be the best scent of the year.
I wish the categories were expandes, like

best three houses.

It's difficult to choose one. Yet, there were not many good new releases this year. Each time I say so, the fragrance companies whisper "Wait till the next year and let's see what you say."
