The start of a cold :bounce:
No, not insane, but still in the afterglow of The Boss and his E Street Band

Bruce had a cold, the concert was postponed till Saturday, but then......fire
Indeed, G dear "you can't start a fire without a spark". If only I had caught that cold from 'Dancing in the Dark' with Springsteen

So, on fire today in Musc Ravageur.

You must have had an awesome time at that concert, R! Are you sure he didn't sing "this cold is for hire"? Get well soon, dear.

Very rainy weather outside today... going with GUCCI POUR HOMME to start the new week.

I'm in Prada today. I think I've found my favourite winter scent!

I can't stay away from roses just now. Today I'm in Sa Majeste La Rose by SL.
Thank you Dee and G. But....any virus coming from The Boss is treated with respect
::and whisky, honey, lemon, more whisky.....a little nap followed by a generous glass of whisky.....::

Trust me, I make the most of everything
If you have the same cold as me, you're in for a rough few days. The whisky sounds like a good idea (I wore MR too, when it was starting!)

Feeling a bit better today but my home PC died so I'm also really stressed. PC malfunction is the one thing guaranteed to stress me out more than anything. I didn't sleep last night because of it so needed a generous spritz of Coney Island to get me going today.
Morning all! I'm wearing Safran Troublant today (another little pressie in my surprise package last week!)

Rainy day, hardly any sleep last night because I was up working, feeling and looking like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards...
Gres Cabaret today. Salty roses. Works for me.

Had already spritzed on YR Iris Noir (from a generous sample from the generous-er Norwegian Mouse when I read DeeOlive's post. Dang!! When was the last time I treated myself to the beautiful FdeR??? Used to live in it.

Maybe after the ayem shower and qi jong.....

Meanwhile - another YR winner!! Fresh take on iris - bright and soft yet not powdery!!! Scampered off to purchase some and behold!! It doesn't exist! Wa-a-a-a-ah

Tao, I'm told the YR Iris Noir will be available Stateside in early '08. I'm waiting right along with you, though haven't tried it yet! Sounds great, though...

Cool! I just tried my first sample of Shocking. I didn't find it so shocking but I did find it quite nice. It has a certain note in it that I'm trying to identify.

Yum! Everyone smells delicious today!

Am sampling two of Michael Storer's scents, GENEVIEVE and STEPHANIE. Although it's much too early to decide anything definitive, both smell "promising".

To all of you with colds, Get well soon.

I have Sarah Horowitz Love on one wrist and I'm sampling L'Oiseau de Nuit on the other.

How weird... I posted my reply to everyone early today, but it's not showing up! Made it to the men's thread (minus my comments to the folks here!)

Okay, I'll try again:

Everyone's smelling gorgeous today!

Riannon, I think a Springsteen concert is DEFINITELY worth a couple of days of cold virus... especially if it means several days of staying in bed with whisky-laced tea!

Day two in In Fiore Fumee d'Ambre for me. I really love this stuff.

Notes: Incense, vetiver root, patchouli leaves, risk musk, sweet amber.

Rose Essentielle, Bvlgari

This is divine

Bonjour to all of you, whether sniffing for fun or sniffling from viruses.

Third day in Angelique Noire. Do I really like this or am I just enjoying the novelty? Quarry do like her soft fragrances.
I put on a sample of Burberry Brit for work today. I actually got comments on it. I sold out 3 of my parfums today - guess who's going to buy more ...
Trying A Fleur de Peau today. Really nice leather notes, and good sillage, but not great for longevity. Still, nice enough to consider for FBW-iness.

Testing Hanae Mori - yum!

You sure do!!
It's Brit Gold from dearest Musse today
Started off with just a splash of Crabtree and Evelyn white tea and birch.

And then in the middle of all the snow my Lucky scent samples arrived, and I put on some Equistrius as soon as I finished shoveling snow and warmed up. I love it! It's rich, spicy violets and iris! And, of course, my husband hates it. Well, that's life.

Creed Bois du Portugal once again as SotE. This is a classy fragrance..

My first wearing of Poivre Samarcande woke me up this morning. (Thanks to Mike Perez)
It is sheer but not weak, and although it is not terribly long lasting on me (and that can be fine for a morning pick), it is so much more satisfying than either Poivre Piquant or Piment Brulent.

I found my Ava Luxe samples lurking at the back of a shelf so I thought I'd revisit a few I didn't get on with before. I have firewood on one wrist and bohemian rose on the other. They mix beautifully, this is definitely something I'd wear around other people!
