Chanel Egoiste TV Spot

Dayum.

I was randomly searching through youtube and came across a tv ad for Chanel Egoiste. I got curious, clicked it, and to my surprise, I actually remember this ad really clearly from when I was a kid. Brought back some crazy memories of constantly being bombared by that ad.

Hard to forget an ad like this, too.

Cool ad. I haven't tried Egoiste yet (Although a sample is on the way), but this gives a pretty different view on Egoiste then the one I have. This seems like an extreme scent.

Is fragrance commercials common in other countries then France btw? The only brand I've ever seen commercials for is Axe. Here is a good one - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FD0rHQu5yWE (It says Lynx, dunno if that's a type of Axe, but I know that when the commercial ran in Norway it was for Axe).

Can't really think of any recent fragance ads outside of deodorants like Axe, at least not on american and canadian tv networks.

And Lynx and Axe are the same, just different names depending on the location. I think down under, it's called Lynx. Not really sure where it originates.

I remember seeing this Platinum Egoiste commercials as a kid, but I dont think I knew what it was...I was 9 or 10 at the time lol

I've never even saw an Égoïste ad on tv until the internet came along, it's not that i didn't watch tv, but i just didn't run into it at the time i guess.
It's a great ad i think, a bit loony and not easy to forget.
Being one of my all-time HG, Égoïste will always be a cool and elegant fragrance to me regardless of the ad.
