Deep, dark, delicious! Perfume(s) for "Bad Girl" Days...

What to wear when I feel like being "bad"? I'm finding that Obsession isn't cutting it, I'm over the floral in Allure Sensuelle, and I need a new bad-girl oriental for the holiday break. What do all of you oriental-lovers wear when you need that extra kick?

Ava Luxe Film Noir - leathery, smoky, kinda dangerous!

Edited to add: I just noticed that you said "oriental." I am also an oriental lover, but Film Noir is classified as a chypre (at least by Ava Luxe). If you want an oriental, my beloved Ava Luxe Madame X is a good, sexy, bad-girl scent - another leather, yum!

Not oriental, but Tabac Blond is a bit naughty. So is Black Cashmere. And I'm told Boudoir is, but it smelled like dirty underwear on me. I have no idea what genre Boudoir falls into, I couldn't get it off me quick enough. Really depends what kind of 'bad' you're looking for. :-)

What about Opium? Oriental AND naughty. It has stood the test of time. A work colleague of mine wore that last week and I was going mad trying to remember what it was, and when she told me I was amazed, because it smelled divine on her (I liked it when it first became 'all the rage', but never had the confidence to try and wear it myself). It's a big hitter, Opium. But you might want something more recent than that.

What about Le Baiser du Dragon? It's flaming gorgeous, and it does have a 'naughty' edge to it.

I'll second Opium, Narcisse Noir and Ambre Sultan. Also Coco if I'm feeling 'bad but classy'.
I seem to reach for the leathers and inscenses when I'm feeling truly wicked.
I have a bottle of Bandit on order for those times and my Tabac Blonde gets a workout too.

I hear great things about the really skanky musks for sexy naughty moments. But I haven't investigated that area yet.

I wear Madame X, Tabac Blond, Ambre Sultan, Poison and (hopefully soon!) Narcisse Noir.
Bandit's another "bad girl" scent although I find it too cold and green for me, personally. I have a bottle but have only worn it a couple of times.

oh yes to Ambre Sultan and Opium! I would also add Musc Ravageur and Dior Addict.


And the ultimate "bad girl" scent, IMO, is something leather like Bandit, Cuir Mauresque, or Tabac Blond.

I also agree with Opium, the "ultimate" bad girl oriental! I've loved and worn it for years.
I think Black Cashmere, Bois Oriental, Le baiser du Dragon, and Youth Dew Amber Nude may also fit the bill!

I think of bad girls as women who exude sexuality and a little danger. Women who know exactly what they want without any indecision. They see breaking a few rules as a necessary risk to get what they want. I see bad girls in scents that have more incense, smoke, and/or animal notes. Bandit, Ava Luxe Kama Extreme and Rasa Extreme, The Different Company Rose Poivree, Le Labo Patchouli 24, and Serge Lutens Muscs Koublai Khan are what I consider apt for bad girls.

I find oriental fragrances to be sensual, exotic and seductive and/or warm and comforting. If I had to select bad girl choices from oriental fragrances, Musc Ravageur, Ambre Sultan, and Tauer's L'Air du Desert Marocain would please me.

Taolady, I totally agree with you about Tabu. It's gorgeous and very naughty. In a completely different direction, I find A La Nuit suits me when I'm feeling naughty. Though it's simply white flowers I find it to be a kind of jasmine overload that is quite precocious (sp?).
I'm in with MKK, as well. Also Ava-Luxe Mme X, though I can't decide if I really like that one on me. (I'm probably just too good of a girl for it-ha!)
And I must add that I sampled Bandit for the first time today and I don't understand why it's so often cited as a "bad girl" type of scent. It was very office friendly on me. Go figure.

Thank you all so much! What wonderful suggestions - hard to know where to start, but looking forward to the adventure .... Lots of recs on Opium, I noticed - I tried it on myself, and unfortunately it goes (hate to say it, need an alternative word I know) "grandma-esque" immediately, and remains so on the drydown. Love it on others, but not for me. Investigating the Lutens and Musc Ravageur reviews currently, so we'll see.

It's funny how different scents react on different people. Like pellen, Bandit is quite tame on me. I love Musc Ravageur, but on me it is sweet and comforting, not especially sexy (reminds me, in a way, of how Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar smells on me, with a touch more class). Coco and Opium are two of my comfort scents (but with a touch of sex appeal).

Ava Luxe Film Noir, however...leather, smoke, and a little touch of rubber somethin'. lol And I forgot about Tabu! That's a good one, too.

Maybe I'm just too bad. I'm too bad for my perfume, too bad for my perfume, tooooo baaaad. ;-) Just kidding.

ELO Jasmine et Cigarettes...ashy, floral decadence for a woman with bad habits...Bourbon French "Dark Gift" is romantically dark; hinting of naughty games in decaying cities. Venezia is opulent, overdone, overpowering and obvious; bad girl bad in other words.

Bal a Versailles is my No. 1 bad girl scent but it is also reputed as such, animalics are usually best for that purpose IMHO. The only thing is that they are not the greatest in super hot weather, L'Air De Rien may be better for very hot weather and I also love By Kilian Back to Black Aphrodisiac though it is a bit more comforting and not an animalic.

Mmm, maybe Lolita Lempicka Minuit Noir, or another one of Lolita's scents and maybe what I am wearing now, Vanilla and Anise by Jo Malone(which is soo yummy btw). Maybe Midnight Poison Elixir as well. And two of my personal faves..Mon Jasmin Noir and Jasmin Noir L'essence by BLV. I always think of patchouli and anise accords when thinking of a nice, dark scent.
