Have you ever found a scent that made everyone fall in love with you? Without having a clue they were responding to olfactory attraction?

In my youth I used the original Gendarme for about a decade - it never failed. Straight guys wanted to be my best friend, gay guys wanted more than that. Women of every persuasion couldn't get enough of me.

I experimented with other scents and no scents at all and proved to myself that my skin, sweat and Gendarme was the ticket combo for successful interactions with others.

Have you ever found this to be true? The perfect scent for attraction for your body chemistry?

I think it would be fun to read what has worked for you all in this scenario.

Everyone loves Millesime Imperial. I've had a girl tell me that I could "get laid just for wearing that cologne"! um, ok!

Dior Homme is another crowd pleaser.

Zino Davidoff and Rochas Macassar seem to work for me. I guess they go along with my appearance and personality in just the right way to evoke that response.

John Varvatos and Burberry London have been the sexiest scents I've ever worn ... these two are among my maximum compliment getters and a MAJOR portion of the compliments received from women have been .. ummm.. 'suggestive' to put it mildly

I've had some pretty suggestive things said to me concerning a couple hardly mentioned here.

Jacques Fath Yang - "you smell like pure sex!". From woman at an art gallery. Not sure why this one doesn't get more mention around here.

Paul Smith London - "I've never smelled a sexier scent! And I'm really not a fan of cologne on men". Woman at party.

Creed Tabarome Millesime - "If my boyfriend was wearing that scent, he wouldn't be able to get out of the house!". Woman at a book store.

One of these ended in an "encounter".

This comment surprised me. I always felt yang to be my "kind" scent. the good friend, the soft and sensible balanced guy... a nice cup of tea with a girl. Pure SEX? :S wow There are some weird noses. Great EDT by the way
I had that reaction ONCE with Vetiver. After that one time it never worked again with my skin.
Another Vote for varvatos.
One for Ungaro III and several for Rose 31. I am just waiting to drop th RG bomb with some girls... I know it will be considered sexy though clean at the same time.

Well, at this point my only advice is to take it slowly.

You might laugh, but the fragrance that got me laid more than any other was Tuscany per Uomo Forte. I am still shocked Aramis killed this fragrance. I've got 3/4 of a bottle to last me......(sigh)

Good comments with Must pour homme Cartier, Polo Lauren and even good old Eternity for Men CK (well, those 90-s!)

Nowadays attractants are Vetiver Tonka Hermes, Presence for men Montblanc, Vetiver pour Elle Guerlain, Invasion Barbares MDCI and Tabarome Millesime (true classic!)

so I could not see any special notes for being sexy, just a mood enhancer

I haven't noticed this one mentioned frequently as a "scent guys dig," but wearing Flowerbomb has made several people (men & women) close their eyes, lean closer to me, inhale deeply, and breathe out some variation of "Mmmmmmmm."

To me, sexy would be a skin scent that you and only one other can smell. The dry down of Eau d'Hermès, when someone has to be in my arms to smell it, would qualify.

In my opinion, Black Orchid is one of the sexiest scents available for men or women. From the top notes to the dry down, it is sexy. Of all the Tom Ford's I've tested, I like it the best!
