Yesterday I was thinking about which fragrances in my wardrobe would be which color (I was bored at work, cut me a little slack
) and while it's very easy to classify the blues, greens, browns, and even purple (Ungaro 3, I'm looking at you) I couldn't think of a fragrances that would be truly 'black'
Part of the problem might be the completely inappropriate use of black in mainstream fragrances. Polo Black, Kenneth Cole Black, Paco Rabbane Black XS, none of these have any dark notes in their nature. Bvlgari Black isn't even black to me, vanilla and rubber just don't bring black to mind.
So, what do you think a true black fragrance would be, and why?
