subtle, natural frag for the very sensitive nose

Hello - I'm thinking about picking up a fragrance gift for my brother and/or his fiancée. Both of them have very sensitive noses and do not respond well to strong synthetic smells, but I wonder if there might be something natural/subtle/low sillage that they might enjoy. Unisex might be best, as I'm not sure which of them might be the one who likes it. The only thing that came to mind for me was Eau Dynamisante, but I have never personally smelled it. Would that one fit the bill? Are there other options? The more affordable, the better. Thanks.

What about a sample pack of a variety of scents from Ayala Moriel? I tried a few samples for my mother and they fit the bill perfectly.

Creed Santal Imperial

Perhaps L'Artisan Parfumeur Mure et Musc Cologne, Diptyque Virgilio, Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Celadon, or Angelique sous la Pluie. All unisex.

Gendarme or Pure Grace from Philosophy.

Any of the Gendarme products. Gendarme, Gendarme V, Gendarme 20, (all those are unisex and smell a bit like each other) and/or Carrière, which is marketed as for women but smells almost exactly the same as the other Gendarmes.

Those are your most conservative options.

When people have super sensitive noses they usually don't like perfume or are very hard to please. Think of a different gift that isn't so personalized.

Mugler Cologne. Smells green and very close to the skin. Will never annoy anyone. Perfect for office occasion. I just love it.

What about a classic, smooth Eau de cologne, like Roger&Gallet Extra-Vieille ? (also called Jean-Marie Farina)
Guerlain's Eau du Coq and Eau Impériale are other alternatives.

I have a new EDP called Kadota.. a soft green fig that is subtle and perfect for both men and women.

Mugler's cologne is a good choice.

Hermes's Orange Verte and L'Occitane's range should also be in your consideration.

I totally second Gendarme & Mugler Cologne. I'd also recommend CK be and CK one.

clinique happy.

I agree with the Mugler Cologne recommendations. It's touted as a fragrance for people who don't like fragrance (which I interpret to mean people who have a miserable time walking through the perfume sections of department stores), and I think it succeeds pretty well to this ends. I find it subtle, inoffensive, and pleasantly fresh smelling.

L'eau Par Kenzo is about as subtle and natural as it gets. Next in line...maybe Diptyque's Philosykos.
