Merry Christmas Eve (to those of you who celebrate it)!

I'm wearing Sunflowers. Such a cheerful fragrance. Puts me in a good mood for all the ridiculous wrapping I have yet to do...

Yeah, that whole GMT+10 thing and being on the fashionable side of the International Dateline can be fun.
Heading off to Lullabye Land...with visions of sugar plums and 25 more papers to grade tomorrow morning. Changed scents this evening. Am now comfortably wrapped in Un Jardin en Méditerranée

I'm pretty sure I'm going with Lolita Lempicka for tomorrow. I have it on now for bedtime and it's been good to me the past few weeks I need happy tomorrow!!

Merry Christmas Eve
Good night to some and good morning to some others!

Magnolia, I've been quite taken with Lolita Lempicka lately...but somehow, it reminds me of something I own already - could not make up my mind what it is though And I want to sample the midnight version!

My SotD: PG Un Crime Exotique
(sakecat beware - sending huge fragrant waves your way )

Wishing all of you a peaceful Christmas Eve with lots of love

Good morning and Merry Christmas to everybody A shame I need to do a late shift today(we celebrate the 24th in Norway),but at least I have tomorrow off.Hope you all have a nice day.Sotd so far is Parfum Sacre...quite fiotting for today,I think.
An early start. Phonecall from a panicking client if we could replace a machine.
Well, the angels were on our side, thank goodness.

Such an alien experience to step into your empty office, see the Christmas tree without light. So...well...lonely, is the right word for it, I think.
I opened the windows, switched on the lights of the Christmas tree and sang the alt part of Transeamus. The scent of Messe de Minuit around me like the protecting wings of an angel.

Happy and peaceful Christmas Eve to all celebrating.
Good morning to all, have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas day for those who celebrate.

Nuit de Noel

Curious to see how many others will choose this scent today
post #13 of 60
Son's fever has left the building this morning

Today we'll visit the second cremation in three days'. I'm in Eau de Camille, green and inoffensive.
I'm wearing Shalimar which I have only recently discovered will work for me. I used to dislike it. Now I love it.

I plan to wear either Shalimar or Chergui tomorrow, but depending on my mood I could change my mind about both.
Merry X-mas, all!

To my great surprice my SotD is Chanel Cristalle EdP. I sniffed it yesterday eve, the first sniff for nine months, and I must wear it today!!!! The EdT is great for summer, and the EdP is wonderful on a cold day!

The body lotion is wonderful, too!

It is almost a christmas-present to find a lovely frag one almost had forgott!

Yes, that's how I feel about Shalimar. We didn't get on for years but suddenly we're in love at Christmas. It's quite a revelation.

I wish you well in your Christelle.

Santa Maria Novella MELOGRANO

A peaceful Christmas eve to all of you.
I'm joining DeeOlive in wearing Caron Nuit de Noel today.

It's back to work for me today, after a two week+ vacation I'm sort of bummed, but at least I don't have to work tomorrow ...

Merry Christmas everyone!

Lievje - what a great Christmas present!!! A fever-less son!

One of you divine BNers sent me a sample of Montale Sweet Oriental Dream - in which I spent the night - and I am now BESOTTED. What a gorgeous frag. Honey and cherries and almonds and roses and tobacco and I MUST GET MY HANDS ON SOME. And I've used up all the sample. (Will I ever grow up???) Why don't I own more Montales? Every one I've ever tried has been a winner for me.

So what for the day? Now everything seems like an anti-climax. Maybe KM Loukhoum??.

Montale Black Aoud

Mandarin, Rose, Oud, Patchouli, Labdanum, Sandalwood, Musk

My first SotD for several days. Having been ill and at home I've ot much felt like wearing anything (I'm also concerned that, as my immune system has bottomed out, I might get a reaction as well).
Anyway, felt like some Mitsouko today. Old faithful.
I am starting to feel better, though, although it's slow going. But as I'm having a quiet Christmas with just me and my man, it'll be fine.

Mmm, I guess it is GMT+11. I keep forgetting about that. (I'm in Melbourne, by the way, we do the Daylight Savings Time thing, I just forget to add it on when I think of GMT.)

Hermessence, Ambre Narguile... a little rum-raisin spiciness for today.
It is Monday. I am working. Chergui. With its warmth and energy, I somehow always find it a perfect to start a work week.
Like Inees, working the late shift today and off tomorrow. For the morning, I am dancing with the stars in Aftelier Tango. Will probably change for the pm, though.

Margareta, so nice to see you again. I also find Cristalle very suitable for the cold, crispy and crystal clear days, nice choice!

Yes! May it stay gone. I hope he will continue to improve.

Montale Patchouli Leaves.
This is so soft and gorgeous for patchouli that I can see even a patchouli hater would have trouble being offended.
It is so mellow that it still smells good if I change my fragrance later and put something else over it, acting as an "Oriental base" and giving earthy sweetness to the next fragrance. Amazing stuff.
I've been really busy the last couple of days, but wanted to pop in and wish all you lovely ladies (and gents) a very Merry Christmas!

I'm enjoying SWEET ORIENTAL DREAM again today and am with TAO on this one. Can't seem to get enough of it. Delicious!
