Perfume and Wine/Food

I've found that when I wear certain perfumes (Montale's Black Aoud, for instance) - the wine I'm drinking (no matter how full bodied and wonderful) winds up tasting like the perfume I'm wearing. Yuck.

Alternately, if I'm wearing certain scents, I find the wine tastes better.

So, here are 2 scents that I've found that seem to go really well with wine.

Ginestet Botrytis - Really good with unoaked whites. Adds a honeyed note.

Serendipitous - you know that combination of cabernet and chocolate? Wearing this perfume and drinking red (particularly heavier red) is amazing.

Any other scents that makes wine (or other libations or food) taste better?

Any scents that makes wine etc. taste like the perfume you are wearing?

Interesting topic! Yes, I think Cielo by Flora Napa Valley would be good with a California white wine. I also enjoy wearing light citrusy fragrances when I'm cooking, if I wear any at all.

What an interesting topic indeed!
Just the other day I was wearing
L'Artisan Fleur d'Ornager and
found that while drinking my warm
cup of blackcurrant tea - every time
I lifted the cup to my mouth I'd
fill it first with that wonderful
aroma of orange blossoms, beeswax and honey.
And while it worked for that particular tea blend,
I highly doubt it would have blended itself
so well with wines (red or white) or for that
matter with many other drinks and/or foods.

I could see it working magically with many
chocolate cakes and brownies however .

I have found that Jaipur edp and a well made cafe americano (or espresso, for that matter) go together beautifully.
