Hey- a big Happy B-Day to Grant from Maine too!

Haven't actually gone to bed yet, but am still wearing a bit of Kai, so I guess that counts.

Have a great Boxing Day everyone.

1000 - Jean Patou

Have a great year ahead, Grant!
Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to our fearless leader.

Ormonde Man ready and waiting for morning on this side of the world.

Happy birthday to our Basenotes Overlord

Specially for you this morning: Ormonde Man (little bit) on one wrist, Ormonde Woman (generous spray) on other wrist.

Hemlock, hemlock everywhere

A great Wednesday, Boxing Day/ Working Day/Family Visit Day.....to you all. Enjoy it.

Happy Birthday, Grant!

Have a great Boxing Day everyone. I'm in Grand Amour.

Happy Birthday to Grant!

Costume National Scent Intense for me today. Going to work and suspect some customers might want to give me a punch on the nose if I mention something about Boxing Day, as no one observes it here. Pity!

Happy birthday Grant!

Slowly starting to wake up from yesterday's Christmas dinner
Wearing Creed Angélique Encens as a soft blanket.

A good Boxing day to you all.

Happy birthday wishes to Grant today!

I'm wearing my new Rochas Femme today.
Oooh-
Tigrushka- WHEN will my postman deliver mine ?

"Happy Birthday to Grant !" [ a la Marilyn Monroe, my dear. Count yourself fortunate that I don't have your number- this is my specialty !]

Lievje- your package should arrive soon !
You're wearing a favorite of mine...

You all smell goood.

I've an awfully important interview today, so I must play 'frag-safe'.
I find that AL Silk , or Palisander, can set a lovely backdrop that is soothing, memorable, and friendly- most folks love them, it makes them calm and happy...
[Certainly how you want a prospective employer to feel]

I've been searching for over 3 years for a change, but am told how expensive and over-qualified I am.
I'm more than a bit afraid to hope, and then become despondent.
Wish me luck !
[I'll dress in a simple, elegant plum-colored column dress, with fleur-de-lis earrings and simple shoes]

I'm wearing my beloved Songes edp again. The juice in my 50ml bottle is a lovely red colour, but when I look at pictures of this fragrance it always looks more golden. I prefer the red. One of the moon bottles looks positively yellow, but I have seen one whose glass is decorated in darker colours to reflect the quality of night that Songes evokes. I'm tempted to buy a dark moon bottle as I love this perfume so much and cannot envisage ever tiring of it. The dark bottle may be a limited edition that is now unavailable. What a pity I didn't think of this before Christmas.

I also have Ormonde Jayne's Frangipani on the back of my hand. It is interefering with Songes so will have to be retested another day.

Aaaah, nothing like a good nights' sleep, waking up late, breakfast with my DH ... sooo glad to have him here for longer than a weekend

Grant!

In your honour, I am wearing Ormonde Man from a sample. It strongly reminds me of Ormonde Woman, the black hemlock being the most evident note on my skin.

Have a great Boxing Day, all!

Ms. Chaya - you probably deserve every single penny you earn and then some. Hold out for something worthy of your talents!!!! I know you can do it.

Wishing you luck on your interview.

Happy Boxing Day to those across the pond!
Happy birthday to the Basenotes Guru (great service BTW)

Didn't know it was Ormonde Jayne day until after I put on the scent.
Orris Noir for me today.
Dear Chaya, good luck with the interview! I'll think of you.

S-T-E-L-L-L-A-A-A-A-A!!!!

(From a sample/roll-on. Should I invest??? It's a slightly darker version of YR Rose Absolu it seems to me.....)

Happy Birthday/Boxing Day to all y'all!!

I'm wearing Ormonde Jayne Orris Noir from the sample set that Santa kindly provided. It was pretty, but has vanished to my nose. Will try again later.

Happy, happy birthday Grant!

LiB, enjoy your DH and that wonderful leisurely breakfast!

Happy Boxing Day to all who celebrate it.

Go get 'em, Chaya! You look and smell WONDERFUL.

I'm in Guerlain Bois d'Armenie today.

Happy B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y Grant!

Le Labo Rose 31 on the left wrist and The Different Company Rose Poivrée on the right, I declared that I prefer R31 than RP. Rose Poivrée is obscenely surreal, like a real rose picked from a garden but soiled. I really admire the perfumer who can make it so real, but it is something that I can't wear out but only to sniff out from a bottle or a test strip.
Valentino V for me today.

Happy Birthday, Grant!

Thanks for putting up with us for another year.

Chayaruchama, best of luck on your interview.
May the right thing happen--especially if it will mean better work and bigger pay.

Well put. I thought so too. I would go for the Rose Absolu. It had more patchoui and vanilla in the base and therefore was warmer and had more substance.

Today I just need to soak in the tub and wash the place off me!

Happy birthday to the Big G!
Today, I'm wearing the 2nd of my husband's gifts to me this Christmas: Jasmin de Nuit, by The Different Company. It's not great on the longevity, but it's a lovely perfume.

Happy generally normal day to everyone. And a birthday wish for Grant.

Today I made fruitcake scones to use up some odds and ends of candied fruit I had around. Otherwise I'll still have it for next year.

I am testing Un Parfum d'Ailleurs et Fleurs by TDC. It was recommended by someone as a lower key tuberose fragrance, and it is that.

Though I dabbed on my sample, and I have a feeling that spritzing might yield a different result. Anyone know?

Wearing SL Muscs Koublai Khan so I can be a post-holiday shopping warrior.
Oh, Zib !
A looong bath is definitely in order ! Maybe Dr. Kneipp's herbal bath stuff.

Thanks for the support, folks !
I would LOVE to get this job- I should know by next week, if I'm called back.
It's a very altruistic supplementary program for keeping elders healthy in the community, even if they have ZERO $... so close to my old hippie heart.
[They need only worry about my sexually harassing really old men- that's my only flaw.]

Wound up in Rykiel Woman-you can NEVER go wrong with that one.
Off to remove these godawful pantyhose...
How DO you ladies wear them, day in and day out ???
YUCK !
I don't! Ugh. I can't wear anything close fitting on my legs, it makes me itch and scratch.

Happy Birthday, Grant!
And better late than never...I wore Angel today (in the extrait, of course).
Here I am last to the party, so, of course, there's no cake left. Bummer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRANT!

HOPE YOU'RE FEELING POSITIVELY capital (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN).

It's late in the day, and I'll get around to picking out a sent eventually.
