NEW: Gaultier² Eau de Amour Limited Edition EdT.

Thread Starter
Well, our buddies at NowSmellThis are reporting that Jean Paul Gaultier is coming out with a limited edition EdT (as opposed to EdP) version of Gaultier² for Valentine's Day.

The juice, called Gaultier² Eau de Amour, adds mandarin and coriander notes to the amber, vanilla, and musk notes of Gaultier². The bottles (single or dual 60 mL/2 oz) are decorated with heart-shaped magnets. (Me thinks this will be a Sephora exclusive in the States...)

Still, I can't wait to try this!

Can't wait to try this. Love G2 and expect this one to be another hit. Hope it will be available in many places and for longer time.

The first question that popped into my head when I read this was: Will one be able to detect the new mandarin and coriander notes through that heavy, deep Gaultier 2 signature vanilla-on-steroids note?

When I read the new citric notes, I immediately thought about the discovery that tvlampboy made with layering Clinique Happy and Gaultier2. It's an unusual, but awesome combo!

Actually, I suddenly thought about "Fragile for Men". That's how I imagine it.

Has anyone smelled this? Bottles are cute.

I've smelt it compared with normal Gualtier2 on cards, and on card this one is less prominent and to my nose less appealing, didn't really think about either for long, so can't really go into reviews

Does anyone know where I can purchase this online?

I've looked everywhere!

And is this version just as Unisex as the regular?

No, you almost wouldn't be able to. Well, I wasn't able to -- but sense that they're "barely there." (at least in the top notes) To me, on the skin, it smelled like a watered down Gaultier2. It's as if they added some more alcohol and less of the fragrance. (which is most likely true) I would say the Amour version is very "powdery."
